Julien G (zraw) Road To Provincials 2014

I had this problem A LOT too… doing any leg exercise wasnt funbecause of low back stiffness… if I did hypers it stayed stiff for a good 25-30mins and the drive home sucked…

What I learned is that this happens when your lower back muscles dont “relax” after a set… they stay contracted and shit…and you need to “teach” them to relax…

Best way for this is by stretching lol…ill try to describe how

Sit on the floor one leg extended the other one bent with the knee bent perpendicular to the extended leg… then reach over your extended leg with the opposite hand/arm and go touch the floor… try and relax/hold for 1-2mins…

Do this every time your back gets too stiff… as time goes it wil happen less and less often

Worked for me…

I just realized that u have a sick inner chest, do you do anything special for it?[/quote]

Hey Matias, sorry to get off-topic for a moment, but who is that in your avatar? He looks familiar, but I can’t place it, and it’s really a perfect torso. Almost looks like a digital creation!

Thanks

Sick video zraw. Thanks for finding the time to make and put it up. Those ‘stretchers’ look good, gonna dabble with those at my next back workout.

How do you setup the Cheat Meals? Having them after legs and back?

I just found this thread and will definitely be following!

Are you still doing your Reactive Pump Training log? I can’t find it now.

Very good training video. Would like to see more like this.

Ive been incorporating stretchers and 1 arm BB rows over the last 5 weeks and they have become staples in my back training. meadows has some awesome ideas.

Also, what gym do you go to? Looks pretty damn nice. certainly better than mine.

Whenever I like :stuck_out_tongue:

I usually have a breakfast cheat thursday morning and a diner cheat saturday morning

Sometimes I dont even “use” my cheats

Its pretty random and dont think it matters much… its not even meals that are much higher in calories anyways… just shitty food choices
