Seriously man, those legs look like they’re from someone whose contest weight is higher than what you weigh currently!
The tears of painful leg days are etched clearly around your knees.

Glad you like it! Im kinda surprised/disapointed this thread isnt getting more replies/questions/whatever than what it currently is… my last year’s prep was getting much more views/hits and wasnt nearly as detailed
I live in montreal, Canada. Horse meat is very cheap up here
if this information is private i don’t mind, but i figured it was worth asking.
how low do you drop your calorie intake during the final weeks leading up to a contest? i know you’ve posted that you are a bit above 3000 currently.
anyway you look great, keep up the good work.

I like the thread and have followed you for over a year. Your offseason was solid and you’re going to look awesome come stage time! I’m surprised that this thread isn’t more popular, too, but a couple reasons why may be that your offseason log was pretty slow and people lose interest after you promised lifting videos a few times over the past year and haven’t delivered. People like videos and pics haha

Hey man! This will depend on how I look and predicting that is pretty much impossible
Obviously, the goal is to be able to get as lean as possible while keeping cals as high as possible… but to know the answer to your question we will have to wait and see… ![]()
To be honest, I think part of the reason for fewer “interest” in the thread is because of how lean you started your prep at. Obviously it’s the best way to go, but I think a lot of people really enjoy watching a guy go from full on offseason look to shredded during their prep. Since you kept it so tight during the offseason, there hasn’t been the drastic fat loss that catches attention for some. You definitely did it right though man, and I’m enjoying following, just my take on why some of the non-competitors may not be quite as intrigued as in other prep threads

I usually buy ground, its so low in fat
I cook it and then mix it with brown rice pastas and tomato sauce or just mix it with white rice and put some walden farm sauce in there (maple syrup WF + horse meat + rice actually taste pretty good)

Your legs have come up a ton and your chest has got much thicker over the off-season. What have you been doing in particular to make these improvements?..are you just following JM’s training or are you doing little things during the lifts to hit the muscles better?
It’s crazy what 8 pounds can do.
I went back to page one and looked at some of the rear poses, the difference in the lower lat/love handle area is huge.
Hammies (as you mentioned) also showing some detail. Very nice.
