Julien G 2014 Contest Prep(s) Thread

Curious Zraw why on your off days do you have carbs later in the day, or is that just convenient for you? [/quote]

Having no carbs on the first meal of the day is a common practice to allow fat to be used as fuel for the start of the day.

I really cant tell you why I’m not getting any carbs on meal 5 and some on meal 6 though, as I just do what JM lays out for me

I dont do anything out of convenience during prep… I make everything work, convenient or not

Man, a big difference from where your starting this prep compared to last.Looking good Z and I’m In for the ride as well, good stuff.

I’m in. You’re going to look great when the time comes. Best of luck!

Thanks Julien for posting. Thanks JM for allowing the details to be shared.

Thank you Zraw, that makes sense and I figured there was some reason besides laziness lol.

Looking forward to this thread! You definitely look better than last year. You are going to be a beast.

Tell me, you have great shoulders. According to your split, though, you don’t have shoulder specific days. Do you just work them on chest days?

What about calves?

I’m in!

Hey Sry if this has already been asked Zraw but what is your opinion on fruit. I see there is some in your diet and obviously John advocates lemon juice and cranberry juice, so I know your doing that.

I love how you list horse as one of your meat choice…

You are a beast can’t wait to see the final product!

Hey! I take the half squeezed lemon in hot water in the morning but not the cranberry juice

I think fruits are ok if you go for fruits with high fiber source but that if you don’t its really pretty much just sugar along with a bit of vitamins

Altoug I havent asked John I like to think the strawberries are there really just to put something with a sugary taste in my mouth from time to time
