Julien G 2014 Contest Prep(s) Thread

Good job!!! Very impressive

Julien it looks like you went for a low fat - medium carb approach leading up to the contest as opposed to a higher fat-low carb approach before for fat loss. What was your rational behind this?

Generally speaking, what are the differences you have noticed between low fat-high carb and high fat-low carb for fat loss? Does one work better for you, do you notice any aesthetic differences (more physically bloated, etc)?[/quote]

I never used low carbs higher fat…?

The only difference is that for my show in march my carbs were higher, fats were low for both shows

Looking really good Julien! Congrats on your success, you have earned it.

Thanks yall

For those who have been asking, I do not think I’ll be posting my offseason here. I did want you guys to see the end of this prep cause I started posting about it but now with JM moving in with another company and all, I’m not sure if I’ll still be on the forums

That’s a shame, but understandable.

Intra workout : a preworkout with the name ending with “freak”, cyclic dextrin, eaas/csein hydro

Multi Vit, sleep aid, digestive enzymes, probiotics

I never put much focus on gut health but feel like I should… having a better body to process the food I eat should yield a better absorbtion… thus more… muscles
