Dude, you seriously look like you are way ahead of where you need to be. If you find you are contest ready two weeks early, what do you do? I mean, if you stay that lean for 2 weeks, I can’t imagine what it would do to your metabolism. I’m not saying you’ll be ready two weeks early, but if you told me you were I’d believe you

You can always be more ready. But what we are hoping for is that from 2weeks out we can add carbs to make me explode etc

Great plan. From my own experience, I look better after 1 week of reverse dieting post contest conditioning. I have read there are coaches that actually make that their goal, i.e. to be ready 1 or 2 weeks out and increase carbs into the show. Personally, I will be trying that next time I do a show.
With respect to your contest prep, I really echo the sentiments of everyone in here. It’s quite literally one of those “Ditto, what he said” things.
I had a question though.
How do you count casien hydro into your overall protein/carb/fat breakdown? From what I understand, something like 10-15g is equivalent to 40-50g protein, in terms of effectiveness.
I haven’t really figured out how to count it in, so I was wondering how you did it.

Looking good. Calves have come up nicely as well. What did JM have you doing for them?
1x/week standing calves raises x 10 keep adding weight until I cant get 10reps. Flex hard at the top and let it stretch deep
supersetted with tibialis raises x failure (or whatever its called)
1x/week same as above but with seated calves raises
2x/week calves superpump (he has a video on youtube)
I’m gonna do this and see if it helps my poor calves
One thing I see that, imo, is part of the reason why most people have poor calves is cause they use momentum
Make sure that on every rep, you have a complete stop in the stretch position, and a complete contraction/hold at the flexed position. Just 1 second is needed
Nice little bit of advice this was. Added 1/2 inch to my calves in the last 4 weeks. Got another 4 to go so hopefully get a full inch.
You got any tips for arms? Mine are shite. Added 35lbs are LBM in the last 20 months and my arms have grown 1/2 inch. The Mrs packs more muscle on her arms than me.
I know you’ve detailed energy levels, strength and mood… How are your hunger levels? I’m assuming at the start you were satisfied and then as it progresses with minor tweaks here and there they are so small your body adapts and it’s not too drastic. My question is when do you start getting hungry or hungrier or are you pretty satisfied so far? Hunger came at 8 weeks? etc.
How do you deal with that and how do you keep sleep quality when going lower on the calories?
Thanks Julien! Looks like the progress is coming along great!

I feel like death.
Hungry right as I finish my meal
Started happening from 4weeks out i’d say but now its hard
But then I look in the mirror and I shut the fuck up and grind
