Bird- Nice to have you back. When’s the new log coming?

Went into the gym friday. My lower back was tight and sore so i didn’t deadlift. Did some arm work lol i know but i didn’t want to leave the gym.

Got in some deep trouble this weekend. I can still lift thankfully but i’m on a tight leash. I need to stop fucking round like a little kid.

So i took the weekend off all activity. kinda a deload i guess. I got a lot of things on my plate so i need to list my priorities.

  1. school

  2. lax/conditioning- i have slacked on both. With practice/conditioning 3 days a week i should be able to make it up if i stay consistent

  3. Lifting- Pretty happy with how its going. Keep on going hard

  4. Snowboarding- Big thing in my life. Will probably end up going away for weekends at a time to board.

As long as lax conditioning gets me in shape i should be good to go for spring.

Here comes another rant.

So i have come to the conclusion that i am an all or nothing guy. If i eat shit i eat a lot of it. I have tried to keep balance in my life but it isn’t happening. I have to devote everything to i have to my goals or i will get nowhere. Going to think of a diet and post it here. By motherfucking god i will not cheat. I will condition 3 times a week no matter what. I will not continue to be a slow pathetic fatass. Iv’e had enough.

Meal 1- 4 oz chicken, 1/2 cup almonds, coffee

  1. 4 oz chicken, 2 pieces whole wheat bread

  2. whey, poptart PWO

  3. 8 oz chicken, pack of turkey bacon, 150g yams, apple

  4. 6 oz beef veggies

2386 cals 37% pro 37 % fat 26 % carbs.

You sound like the old me.

This is what works for me at the moment;

  1. Each meal is based on lean meat and green vegetables. Steak, chicken breasts, fish, roast lamb…
  2. I eat 90% paleo and 85% gluten free. No bread ever.
  3. 4-5 meals a day. 2 snacks a day, usually includes a generous handful of nuts and a fruit.
  4. Carb sources: rice, potatoes and other vegetables. I make sure I have carbs with dinner most nights, as I train fasted the next morning.
  5. Cheat meal once a week. I allow myself another half of a cheat meal another time of the week(i.e: a “healthy” indian curry).
  6. I only drink alcohol once a week, usually with my cheat meal, and usually about 3-4 beers.
  7. No soda. No fruit juice.
  8. Post workout meal: kids cereal and whey protein shake.

Also remember don’t get hung up about the small things. Now and again your going to slip up and end up falling on a pizza. Recognise it, accept it, and move on.

I’m doing something very similar diet-wise and I’ve lost fast the last two weeks no problem. I’m less and less tempted to each shit.
Dude, I gave up the all or nothing approach. It will only lead to misery and disappointment. You should try and rethink that plan, it can also get you in a lot of trouble in many ways…

Bird/SM- I get where your coming from. 1 cheat meal a week is fine with me but, lately ive had streaks of 2-4 days where i would eat like shit. Having structure will help me be somewhat consistent.

Assistance Athletic director/ freshmen basketball coach was arrested and charged today for installing hidden cameras in the boys locker room shower. Police say he was selling them for money as well. I fucking showered in those locker rooms. its so fucked up.

Lol ya im not really bothered by it because i wasn’t in there daily like the basketball kids were. I am surprised its only now he got caught. He made a rule that all freshmen bball players had to shower after practice or they were benched for a game. He would come into the shower with them and throw stuff like ice and snowballs lol. The guy was also a complete asshole so, whatever.

The thing that bothers me are the kids who use this shit for attention. You can bet that almost every kids is like “omg i saw that guy one day please give me sympathy”. just shit like that gets me going.

If i see the guy ever again ill tell him im not mad i just want my fair share of the cash lol.

Bird- Yes, I have his address its all over the news because they searched his home.

The guy is now in the county jail with a bond of 2 million. He has admitted to the video’s but not to selling them. The postal service found him shipping some video’s so i think hes going away for good. They found 1 video in his house but suspect many more because the camera’s have been there since 2005. 24 kids have been identified on the 1 tape they found and more are coming. School is about to face 20+ law suits. I honestly don’t know what to think of it.

lower back still tight/sore so i have decided i would give it this whole week off. Just did some back assistance and such. Will be back to squatting/deadlifting next week.

Your lower back must be sore if you taking the whole week off. Explain the pain? Is it more on one side than the other? What makes it hurt?

Honestly the pain varies from side to side. It usually is just overall sore and extremely tight. Im not taking a week of lifting just lower body. Well se how it goes

Did another bench session. Same shit as last time really didn’t hit any pr’s.

Okay so back at it again. Last week was kind of a mess. Lax tomorrow.
