John Romaniello Scandal

Because you don’t choose who you love the way you choose how much you are willing to pay for a pair of shoes, car or house. It’s not the same as choosing to agree to the terms of a job you were offered.

When someone uses words like transaction regarding romantic relationships, I see someone who is overthinking things. How do you measure or valuate emotions? What’s the exchange rate between the things we do for one another? How do we convert hugs to dollars? You buy your wife flowers and she is happy; that wasn’t enough “compensation.”

Explain the transactions that occur between you and your kid. What does your child pay you for what you give?

I think the same.

My question was rhetorical. I said “supposedly” because the word predatory has been used for men who women throw themselves at.

We all know why he is surrounded by women and likely has to fight some off: he’s physically attractive, has lots of money (he even got a seven-figure book advance), clownish, effeminate, popular, and supplies and does drugs. He might have sexually abused women, but women want to be around and screw him.

But like you said, we can see, rather easily , there is some darkness there that would make us avoid him but somehow those who are most vulnerable to his charms, can’t. I try to teach my daughter to see the signs of a flawed character so as not to be taken in by people like that. I’m sure you do something similar. Of course I was raised to be very selective about who I trusted. It’s a cultural thing.

Because…

. Broken people like other similarly broken people.

I was thinking about these threads about sex we’ve had in the past year and what occurred to me is all that we’ve had to endure because of sexual revolution/“liberation”.

  1. Men getting trumped up on false accusations, even having their lives, education, and careers destroyed because of them (in some cases, all the guy was doing was looking for a girlfriend).
  2. Neglected children.
  3. Actual sexual abuse of men and women.
  4. Torn-apart families.
  5. Actual mistreatment of women and misogyny.
  6. Bat-shit crazy, lonely, depressed, resentful, and angry people of both sexes.
  7. Civil unrest.
  8. Mockery of marriage and the family unit.
  9. Corruption and feminization of institutions, including the courts and education.

On and on.

All worth it for sensations of the genitalia and anus. :+1:Some liberation. What a deal!

I would add that they are attracted to people they see as their opposite, someone who is not broken (or rather appears that way), who seems to have all of the answers and life figured out (the guru, cult leader, svengali, life coach, type). I think the people who are “socially” broken are attracted to sociopaths.

It’s all pushed to destroy the bedrock of western society

The wave of feminism that started to emphasize sexual liberation over the fight for legal equality that was the mission of the first feminists, destroyed the black nuclear family. Educated, elite, white women pushed their stupid ideas on the poor. Roland Fryer has talked about how female ivy league college students would talk about the evil patriarchy and criticize marriage even though 90% of them were from two parent households.
