JoeGood Gets Better - Rehab & Progress

Don’t know if this only works for me but whenever I do any kind of rowing with my thumbs around the bar I feel it in my bis. If I use a thumbless grip rowing it hits my back and not my arms.

I had to stop and catch my breath during the money set. might could have ground out another rep but i was pretty gassed.[/quote]

Joe, great pulling. Are you doing these touch and go? I was doing that for a while, but recently I starting treating my dead money set as a series of singles with very little rest (like 5 seconds). Otherwise, my form goes to shit and I run out of air. I still do the BBB set touch and go as fast as I can go.

  1. Nice job!

Thanks guys.

jack: I’m doing the first few touch and go and then after i get a bit winded they become rapid singles. I might should just start out like that.

hel" I’m going to give that thumbless grip a try. Not sure i can hold the bar up like that but it sure sounds worth investigating.

Money set was very disappointing, I fubared up everything from rest periods to grip. Hopefully it was a one off.

Workout looked good to me. You rack pulled 5 sets of 10 reps with more then twice your BW. Very good work.

I echo ECO comment! Nasty pulls, Joe…solid work brother

Chiming in with a “seems pretty damn solid to me, too”.

Thanks guys, my bench is being problematic but I’m hoping it gets squared away.

I forgot my wrist wraps and I think it caost me a rep on the money set. Ive still not been able to do more than five reps on the week 3 money set but I guess if I keep being able to crank out five reps as the weight goes then that will be okay.

Joe- SO true! If the weights are moving up than you are moving forward…More reps will come! Nice work…

Nice work, Joe. BBB on militaries just looks exhausting.

Nice squatting and nice pulling… good week.

Thanks guys, you are right LS BBB on the milies is a bit like cardio.

Would like to have gotten 7 on the money set but I’ll take 6.

BBB squats and deads makes BBB militaries feel like a walk in the park. Great training Joe. Way to hit 6 reps with 315.

I concur. Very nice pulling.

Indeed Joe, strong pullin…

I know the deadlift is the main lift here but then you do 5 sets of 10 reps with 135on the Gms? That’s pretty good right there by itself.

Thanks guys, I’m trying…poorly it seems sometimes.

Bench

3x200
4x225

4x10x140

Bench was not good again, I’m going to give my self the benefit of the doubt because I’ve had to lift three days in a row and I had to go in early to lift, which always screws me up. Still bench needs to start getting better soon.
