Actually, the left is more Nazi like. Hitler was not a conservative, he was a socialist. What the left promotes is socialism. therefore left= Nazis more than right equals Nazis.

The problem is the left equates being a big meanie pants with Nazism. so Republican = big meanie pants who wants to kill minorities, enslave women, hang homos, and eat the poor = Nazis.

Even though their practices more closely resemble or are socialism. Check out the Nazi gun control law and our gun control law of 1968. Read the side by side translations. and you will find our left copied a Nazi law almost verbatim.
You are missing the point by attempting to bring in facts.

You want a bona fide McCarthy comparison, you got one - you just picked the wrong party.

He seems to not understand this stuff.

The Democrats have the majority, but the Republicans are using tactics of Fear, Death Squads, Obama is an illegal alien, He is Muslim, They put HitlerÃ??Ã?¢??s mustache on Obama’s picture. They say " He is a socialist". All these lies and I have not dug very deep. Tell me the lies that the Democrats are using to create fear, to gain an unfair advantage over the Republicans

How about fuzzy math?

How about calling critiscm unAmerican?

How about promising more than they can deliver?

How about claiming anyone against their plan doesn’t want reform?

How about all the videos about incrementalism toward a single payer?

Not to mention obama isn’t trying to get this plan based on fact, but on his personal goodwill.

All of those things scare the shit out of me , holy shit fuzzy math has killed millions of people and enslaved millions more , Oh my god you mean some one said un-American , How many died from that one, And Obama working on good will, I do not know but I hear that is very dangerous. Your response makes no sense. On the basis of above what harm has calling obama an illegal alien or muslim done? How many people died because someone mentioned “death squads”?

The things I mentioned don’t scare you becuase you do not understand economics. You only see what is seen, not what is unseen.

Fuzzy math used by the government is one of the biggest threats to American Prosperity.

Do you want a health care bill passed because its a good bill thats going to fix the problem, or because people like obama and will do what he says? If the bill is really going to help why doesn’t he argue on the facts, with numbers, with how the policy will impact the current system? Why does he choose to use the just trust me argument?

And you’re right they aren’t scare tactics, they’re worse, they’re ignorance tactics. They use what people don’t understand and exploit it.

P.S.: What about them trying to ram it through congress before August becuase if we didn’t we would be putting America’s future in jeapordy. Thats not a scare tactic?
It is your response that makes no sense, I know people that are afraid because we have a Muslim running this country, and he is going to give it to the terrorists.

No one died because some one said Obama was going to have a death panels, but it frightened people and it was not true.

You explain to me what I do not understand about economics, please this should be good.

Obama is not the only President to use fuzzy math George did, he just left things out of the budget like the war in Iraq.

I never heard Obama say just trust me, he has answered all the questions posed to him. You should have no trouble finding them if what you say is true.

Now your ignorance tactics being more dangerous than scare tactics, where the fuck did you read that, I think you are the one using ignorance tactics. I think you do not have clue what you are talking about

They were trying to ram it though congress before August because the way Washington works is if it is not on your front burner it will not get done. We agree that is not a scare tactic

Google “average utilitarianism”.

Then try to understand the implications for a single payer health care.

Nobody will plug the on grandma.

Grandma will not get a plug in the first place.

There you go again pitbull. Like someone already stated the Dems do not need a single Republican vote in either the House or Senate in order to ram this bill through. They can pass it through without them.

The right is not using scare tactics just spreading the truth. Its amazing how they hate the freedom of expression when it does not support your beliefs not the facts.
Now please go run to your Poodle boyfriend waiting for you.

People that hold those views are obviously fringe elements, and you bringing them up is only a distraction.

O.K. I can see your point, there isn’t a death panel provision in the bill, and claiming otherwise is disingenuous. However, just because the ill doesn’t explicitly mention these things doesn’t mean panels equivalent to “death panels”.

I’m currently in the U.K. and on the front page of my local paper there is a story about a lady being denied avastin because of its cost. Mathematics dictates the government will have to ration care is someway, its not unreasonable to assume this rationing will come at the expense of expensive life saving drugs.

O.K. If you understand economics how is the US going to fund the $50 Trillion dollar social security/Medicare shortfall plus the $10 Trillion deficit through 2020? Is China going to buy $50T of T-bills?The answer is its not, so the US has two options: default or print the money.

We’re probably(read:hopefully) not going to default, so were going to inflate the debt away. Think that is good for the average standard of living in the US? And yet you want to add a huge new entitlement, even though the existing ones are bankrupting us!

You are absolutley 100% correct, and george bush is a huge idiot for doing it. Obama is repeating the same mistakes, except increasing them by a factor of 5.

Please, every time he gets a tough question his answer is “no thats not true” and offers no proof. What the bill literally says is immaterial, its only important how the plan is actually implemented.

Ya ok lets pass 1300 pages of regulations without reading it in the name of change.

Sometimes it’s really important to learn about how government actually works, so that the arguments we are having are honest ones and actually relate to reality. This post isn’t directed at anyone in particular, but it seems reading PWI of late that many here could use a refresher on how a bill becomes a law.

How a bill becomes a law is irrelevant. Idiots are given the right to vote who then vote in idiotic politicians who then write idiotic laws. That is how all laws happen in a democracy.

When legislative law is substituted for natural law decivilization will ensue no matter the methods used to bring about new laws – especially when those laws are based on egalitarianism. The result is a society that is incapable of taking care of itself since individual responsibilities are replaced by legislation.

Back to the topic, the right is doing just that, spreading untruths with pretty good success of frightening people

I did not bring up Obama being a Kenyan Muslim, The Right wing media and the right wingers on this board brought it up.

The entire ruckus about death panels was the right wing media squawking about a provision for the doctor to get paid for working out a living will for the patient. I am 51 and I have a living will. It says that when my time comes I do not want heroic measures used on me just to keep me alive. To save my life is fine but I want my loved ones to decide (if I can not) when my life is over.

What I know about the economy is if it is not turned around in a reasonable time it will go belly up all by itâ??s self. Clinton balanced the budget, he did not do it by being (just) tight fisted with our money, and he also had a JAMMING economy.

I will not argue with you about our National Debt. If you would research my past posts you would see I consider myself a conservative when it comes to spending money. I just do not think it should be done on the backs of the poor and working class.

No one batted an eye at Bushâ??s a trillion dollar war.

I the possibility of health care reform to pay for itself. Right now, small businesses are picking up the majority of the bill. With a public option there would be no need for American Business to do any thing, which would be a savings to them

We agree on Bush, I have criticism of Obama as well. I think we need to rethink Afghanistan.

I agree with you 1300 page bill needs to be read before it is passed, but do not lie about a bill that does not even exist now. The reason I am Anti Republican is because lying and disinformation is the Republican M.O.

Well my neck is bit larger than a pitbulls head, if you really wanted to know. Fights, well Ive had more than my fair share in life Ive lost some but Ive won more.

But back to the topic no one batted an eye when Obama extended the war in Afghan, correct? Where are all the protesters. Health insurance is not a right for the American people its a privilege. Also you said if the bill does not exist how can you defend it? There are 5 versions of it. So it is easy for the demofags to say it is not in the bill “they” read, correct?

I mean do you think Nancy Pelosi saying that people where holding swastikas at town hall meetings, is that not a scare tactic? Or how Barney Blowing Franks yelling at the people he serves in his district, pretty much using scare tactics not “Logic”.

Or how bout you focusing on tactics rather than the issue at hand, health insurance. Is not the democratic tactic to take attention from the main topic and direct towards something minor. Come on pitbull, I figure at 51 you would be wiser. I used a left wing nut like you, thinking we all deserved an equal share the pie. Thinking peace love and happiness is possible. Wise up lad.

P.S. I do have a great sense of Humor. Thats why they call me the panty dropper.

We agree on Afghanistan, I think there is some growing resentment on the war, but time tells all.

I personally think health care should be a right; it is your prerogative to disagree. People get free health care now. All it takes is not worrying about your credit.

The dumbocrats need to get their shit together and produce one bill that can be discussed.

I do not know the story with Nancy Pelosi, but the Barney Frank story; he just put the twit in her place. She was carrying a picture of Obama with a Hitler mustache. How can you expect an objective conversation with some one like that?

I want an honest discussion on health care, meaning an objective discussion. Not one that is full of disinformation and of untruths designed to frighten people, hence I started this thread.

My biggest criticism of your debate style is you for some reason have to make it personal, I could give a fuck that you have the impression that you are wiser than me. I think your are a puppet of the insurance industry. They are playing you like a fiddle
