training is going good dispite the fact that ic ant squat because my joints(under the knee) hurt so much im almost crying. i guess its a side form accutane(med for bad acne like mine)
its my 4th month into accutane, it has cleared almost all, but damn the sides are killing my athletics.I just try to hit the post. chain as hard as i can without doing squats.

I agree with more one leg training when aiming for improved sports performance. I even do my back extenstions with 1 leg only. When you run, change direction etc, it is all done of one leg. Obviously though you generate less force because you are less stable. But how often are you extremely stable when you move in a sports environment anyway? Other one legged exercises to use are the lunge (back leg on a stability ball, up to front leg on wobble board at the same time) progressed up to a one legged squat. Also plyometric exercises such as one legged hops and one legged box jumps etc. But everything has to be progressed properly.
