Good to know. I’d like to incorporate some training like that on occasion, just as soon as my knees allow. Do you make this stuff up or does your gym have WOD(s) posted?

Wow and you said my workout looked tiring! My efforts at skipping are piss poor. I can’t jump with both feet at once - I sort of jog over the rope. Double unders would be an impossibility.

All caught up, I think I need a nap from imagining all that.

Have you had to build up to workouts like that?

I wouldn’t expect I could just waltz into the gym and crank that stuff out without falling down less than half way through!

^ I will answer this, cause I spent the last 2 years doing 5/3/1 and lifting heavy 4 days a week.

Yes it takes time to build up, for the first couple weeks I would leave with serious body shakes. I would do great for about half the workout then fatigue would set in like nothing I have ever experienced.

JLo and I always approach this with reservation, if we are losing form we stop or modify things. We are not trying to be the fastest at this, just trying to keep form and get done. With time your endurance increases and I have lost a little on strength but not like I expected.

ok but heres the REAL question… how much faster than you does she complete the WODs??

training is looking good in here

^ Normally a few minutes, I think I have only beat her once. It was on some squat and PC work out.

I will be the first one to tell all those guys in the gym, I could give a rats ass about time. If I start losing form I go slower, I have to many injuries to fuck around with this. I also do NOT ever do the pullups, period, I always do BB rows or DB one arm rows. So when I modify a workout I dont even put down my time, not fair in my opinion.

However I got humbled the first month I was there, now I dont worry about it. I get my ass kicked daily by women, I can take it.

As DJ, said, yes it takes a while, they modify it for newcomers, or people modify it themselves. Honestly, I went in Saturday, looked at the board, said to myself, “ok so this is gonna be with no lubricant”, and thought I’ll only do 5 rounds, BUT, with everyone else hanging in there, i did all 10. Wanted to DIE, but did it nontheless.

do you do CF everyday?

I go about 4-5 times a week. Yes there is something wrong with me

didn’t work out today, tired…woke up, sat up in bed, laid back down.
