JLO's Log and Kitties

I’m looking forward to following along as well. I really don’t know how you all stick with the low carb thing. I’m kind of addressing everyone with the no pasta no processed carbs. The thought makes me weep. We eat pretty well; mostly because I’m too cheap to spring for crap. Whole foods are generally less expensive and make me fart a tiny bit less. However, the idea of low carbs makes me want to kill kittens.
One of these days I will learn to comment on one using differnt people’s quotes until then I’ll just have to do one at a time.
<~~~not tech savy
It is very VERY hard to limit or even eliminate the carbs, but i do cheat on meals but try to limit it for eating good food not fast food. I’m cheap too, but I look for sales like there’s no tomorrow when grocery shopping, i’ll go to different stores if needed to get deals on food. And we dont want to you feel like killing kittens so eat what you need so you don’t go homicidal with the kitties

Wow, I’m taking over your log

no fast food
buy no chips soda candy ice cream junk food

these rules is EXCELLENT!

<—I can’t even have nut butter in the house anymore! OMG… well I found single serving size thank god… I’ve just had to face facts as facts and I am not to be trusted with a whole jar of the stuff.
Just nut butter? Like almond butter?

today started to have a pain in the left knee, patellar tendonitis, yeah it’s great.
Warm up like usual.

500 jump ropes
4 min 55 sec
workout just cardio stuff
10~>1
burpees/aka up downs
box jumps 20 in box
pull ups (not strict) kipping, yes yes i know, gotta work on the strict

time 15:07
after rolled on a lacross ball to work out the knee pain, didn’t have time to do any strength, had to go to work

Is it a great idea to do all that jumping when you have patella tendonitis? Just a thought!

it’s never happened before, didn’t even really know wth was going on, so needless to say, i will not be doing any jumping for a bit. not sure what i’ll do tomorrow, leaving it up to my personal trainer (DJ). he’ll lead me straight

giggle

the Hallowed said ‘Nut Butter’.

thats just funny shit~

^ Did the box jumps bother your knee? That is mostly posterior chain and you dont really bend your knee much with that. Tomorrow stick to upper body strength training day.

Yeah, I can’t have nut butter either. I have a tendency to scoop it out of the jar with my fingers and before I know it, I’ve gone through half the jar. Fucking stuff is calorie dense.

no the workout itself didn’t bother my knee or it could be i was just trying to get through the workout, i blocked all of the pain. :), but no it was just the warm up lunges that bothered it.

don’t think i’ve tried this nut butter goodness…i might just have to bring nut butter into da house…

to quote more than 1 person at a time-

copy + paste the text

at the top, use their screen name and then, “wrote” like - Cal Jones wrote:

and to make it grey, use these without the asteriks-

begin quote-
end quote-
or, just address them all in the same response with @ cal or something like that, bc we can read

Lunges is the problem was talking about it with Shaun. I havent watched you exactly but we need to make sure your knee is not extending past your toes when you do lunges. Plus you need to avoid them for the next few weeks.

Well I wouldn’t blame ya, almond butter is purty damn guuuuuudddd. I love it on apples, bananas. Lately I’ve been buying the organic, no sugar just salt and peanuts, its a little bland but it does the job.

Welcome JLO

I’m a big fan of almond butter. Here’s my lolcat donation.

I don’t beleive in diets. then again, I can’t see my abs. different priorities I suppose.

Thanks for the welcome and the kitty pic
I don’t likey the word “diet” makes me cringe. And yes we all have our priorities. Mine is different than others, such as DJ wants to be able to lift a small car, me not so much.
