You really do have your head up your ass if you cannot understand the difference between a ruler using religion (any religion) as a justification for his violent actions and a religion using violent action as a doctrine of their faith. But it is you after all, so why should I expect any rational thought . . .

By the way Mak - do you even know what a Fundamentalist Christian’s beliefs actually are? Can you even name ONE of the basic fundamentlist doctrines of Christianity?

Apparently, I can and you can’t. You’re trying to repaint history to make Christians the victims, well you aren’t and you know it. Both sides of that fight are equally culpable.

The real tragedy is the fact that people who aren’t dumb enough to listen to your lies getting caught in the cross fire.

So, that was a no - you can’t . . .

Imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, ‘This is an interesting world I find myself in, an interesting hole I find myself in, fits me rather neatly, doesn’t it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!’ This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it’s still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything’s going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. I think this may be something we need to be on the watch out for.’

You have fun in your bubble.

OH wow - how unexpected - a personal attack instead of proof . . .

[quote]IrishSteel wrote:

I’m not giving proof to someone who will ignore it.

Ohh, now condescension . . .

[quote]IrishSteel wrote:

Condescension would be me saying you are too stupid to understand, I’m merely stating that you would ignore.

Actually, you know what? You are too stupid to understand.

ohhh, even more personal attack - oohh, so devasting . . .

If you want to feign disinterest in an effort to come across as suave and composed, at least try to use punctuation and correct grammar. You “devast” the English language with almost every post you make.

Wow, it’s like talking to a four year old.

waits for another “ouch” joke

Just keeping the conversation at your level . . . (ouch!)

I may not be pushharders biggest fan, but you sir, are a pale imitation.

Less dick-riding, more substance - it might help.

See this had more substance.

Learn from it Irish, then bend it to your personality so you don’t come across as just another fanboy.
