Jeff Rodriguez - Inspiring Natty

Loses so much?

He is fucking enormous, tiny minute waist and dry as a fuckin bone man!

That is a beautiful specimen of bodybuilding IMO.

(I may be a little pessimistic personally, but i do think that he is a user of PED such as all the peptides and possibly some short/no ester AAS - sorry!)

JJ

Why do you think that? [serious Q] like what is it about his physique that is telling of AAS use?

His size and how shredded he is?

man, that pic reminds me of Sodapapinksi or whatever his name is from Mike Tyson’s Punchout

he peaks too early. he is practically contest ready there.

I really dont follow bodybuilding much other than looking at some pictures occasionally (i just wander over here to look around), but I was going to say the same thing. I would imagine he does not need 10 weeks to get to stage ready judging by how he is pretty shredded right now.

I would totally guess he is about 2-3weeks out.

Agreed, I imagine he would look a lot better as a light heavyweight. He’s 195lbs at 10 weeks out, and looses 2lbs a week? Sounds ridiculous.

I don’t see any reason why this guy couldn’t be a natty…

My favorite natty.

Jeff is a really cool guy, too. I met him backstage there last year as I was there coaching Paris P. who took 2nd to Jeff.

He looks better now than he did on stage last year (though he obviously looked great then).

He has a physique that’s not too impressive when he’s just standing there, but when he poses everything “pops” and he looks awesome.

I’m confident he’ll win the overall this year, and I think he should’ve last year.

Probably the best V-taper since Brian Buchanan. THAT good. If he’s lifetime natural, well that’s just icing on the cake.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any natty and precious few assisted pros holding that kind of condition 10 weeks out. His glutes aren’t bricked but that’s about it. Shredded all around, deep cuts in his shoulders and triceps and a fantastically detailed back. Can’t really see his hams too good from the photos but I bet you could fit a pencil into the tie-in.

As far as the natty/not natty debate goes, I bow to Brook’s superior experience on the subject, but considering the great strides that have been made in recent years by both natural pros and some of our own board members (Stu, I’m looking at you) it’s readily apparent that things are getting better all the time.

To everyone saying he peaks too early and loses weight too fast, if you’ve read his protocol regarding sodium intake during the last couple weeks of dieting he says he goes to bed the night before the show weighing 185 and wakes up the next morning 174 and absolutely bone dry.

This is not meant to be an attack on him in anyway, just a genuine question for anyone knowledgable here. I repeat I am not saying I do not believe him to be natural, but I know very little about AAS/steroids in general and am curious.[/quote]

Same question I had. I know some define natural as ‘natural at the time’. I guess only HE knows though.

I think you have to remember that the guys who are at the very top of the heap (even the Natty heap), like Jeff ROdriguez, or Jim Cordova… these guys are genetically predispositioned a little bit ‘better’ than most other folk. Sure they work damn hard, and in most cases are pretty well informed, but while most of ‘us’ have to be especially careful with our diets, and worry about every little thing, a select few can get by without that sort of concern (of course you see the other concern here, the guy seems to drop 11 lbs while he sleeps!). Cordova always wrote about how his metabolism was so fast that he has to eat constantly. Imagine trying to maintain your muscle while dieting if your body wants to just burn through it from such an elevated metabolism (Corey and I always joke about how we’re doing the tuna and broccoli thing while Jim’s probably dieting on burritos)

I want his back NOW!

I’m a heterosexual male, but my first thought was “thats a nice ass and a damn fine waist.” And I’m sure i’ve made remarks like this aloud in front of people who dont know anything about bbing. I’m also sure these comments have caused them to question my sexuality.

And yes super saiyan, my first thought was about natty pb not natty bb.

absolutely cut to pieces in the upper back

Good God. That is all.

where is the link w/ his sick tricep shot?

there u are cyrus. fucking insane. like seriously, like his skin is paper thin.

I think you mistook what I was trying to say. I meant that the 11 pounds was water.

Post did not show up? Must have been a tough lineup/competition, Jeff got 2nd place in middleweight. Kiyoshi Moody also got 2nd place in light heavies.
