Like I said I am shooting for a 300 deadlift at 132.
What works me for is to deadlift low and few reps…and maybe using chains or bands. The plan for this week is 135 for singles…then the following week do my opener then stop deadlifting until the meet Dec 5th
My last PR was Oct 31 for 292lbs…prior to that I was not deadlifting heavy at all. So I am sticking to this plan for now.
now cutting weight during Thanksgiving is gonna be a bitch.
AND and I dont know about some you ladies…but I am an emotional eater. I struggle with eating. It sux! hahahaha

3 sets of 10 bench press 95-lbs , deadlift-135, and squats-95lbs
I shall do my lifts later. This morning was all about cardio and getting my heart rate up.
It takes a long time… once I did the bench press it was going!
workout 2:
squats
box + bands
4 sets of 3 135lbs
4 sets of 3 155lbs
leg press
3 set of 8
4 plates on each side
10 mins of jump rope
10 mins of sprints
I feel pretty good. I like endorphins!

-lat pull downs 3 sets of 10

The diet is not doing great. I have been eating too much…perhaps more on the binge eating side. Actually this is the longest binge I have had…about a week now. I think it will subside this week since I have to enter the meet this Sat (and the whole PMS/holiday eats business will be done with). Looks like I won’t make the 132 class, but that is okay. I almost decided not to compete, but then I thought I was being too hard/cruel on myself if I made that decision. I mean I have only been powerlifting since April/May of this year. Overall, I say I am doing pretty good!

if i may ask, how tall are you? i’m almost 5’ 5" and i dream of being 135…coincidentally 8-10 lbs to go for me as well. we both will get there one day!

Well okay here it goes!
This meet I had fun but the lifts were not great. I have lifted more at the gym on a random day than I did at this meet.
Squat: got one in at 185 I believe
Bench:–just over 100lbs
Deadlift: 283 failed the 303 attempt
overall I got 4 lifts out of 9! This was the worse meet as far as my own personal preformance goes. The event was awesome! The AAU does a real a good job!
I am planning some meets this year. My goals are to compete more and drop a class! I did horrbile, but I have just started it was my third meet! I figure if this one was the worse the next cannot not be that bad ![]()

Don’t feel too bad. I am also a better gym performer by a mile than on the platform. A 292 DL raw is great, I did the same in a single ply at my last meet. For every meet you do, you’ll learn stuff and get better.
