20 people in the gym, it was dead.
Its a pincode access 24 hour gym and they have an app for occupancy at each branch. This one is restricted to 100 at any time as part of covid restrictions and i didnt see it get higher than 40 all day, you were spot on.
It was glorious, though I had to work hard to keep from getting carried away. I planned a light intro week that is going to be tough to stick to.

I most definitely haven’t given that I haven’t even had a minor cold for nearly 2years now
That doesn’t mean you haven’t had it. A lot of people are completely asymptomatic. I know a few people who had not even the sniffles but have positive antibody results.
I had no covid symptoms but antibodies through the roof.
Good point- although that probably wouldn’t do much to get my mom to agree ![]()

Is it “the gym”, because at my branch they’re also limiting opening times, which is a pain.
That’s a really curious thing to me, if it’s 24/7 and coded, what does limiting opening times do apart from force the same volume of people to train in a less spread out manner?
I believe, from reading the emails, that they’re now planning to be staffed at all times. Presumably a cleaning issue (although there were always cleaners there through the night pre-CoVid anyway).
