Out in the yard, can’t hear the phone ringing, enjoying the sunshine, making the place look nice. I like mowing more than anything but training. Then I kick back, have a beer and think “Damn, what a fine yard.”
And then the next day the dandelions are back and I’m like “FFFFFFFUUUUUU”

Hey I’m having a good day because you guys are entertained by such a tame pic
Its not the tameness thats entertaining, its the anticipation of the more revealing attydeb.
As for little things I enjoy, I’m a fan of quiet. My work environment is generally noisy, definitely drive home, and it sucks living near train traffic. So anytime I can enjoy quiet, especially with a beverage, thats good.

It makes me happy so many other people have the same sort of view as myself! Those days where you just notice something you normally wouldn’t and smile. I know every time I see a couple with a newborn makes me so happy, or parents walking their kids to the bus stop with their dog.
The smell of the forest in the heat of a summer day. Seriously. The smell of it is like the smell of life; five million different shades of green and quiet.

That’s a pretty miserable outlook in my view.
If I get to socialise with people I like,I tend to be quite happy with how my day went at the end of it.Nothing makes me feel worse than being on my own and/or being totally unproductive with my time.

Don’t talk about Yo like that, I’ll slit your fucking throat, sword swallower.

The drive home after a good lift is one of my favorite little things in the world.
Oh yeah (on to happier things), I love getting in my lifted 4x4 with the music blasting flying down the high way after puking in the parking lot and chugging a gatorade.
Looking out through a wall of windows at the ever-changing view of a wide river, the sky and the trees, with someone I really care about sitting beside me. Then turning to her and not being sure which is the prettier view.
Doing deadlifts so heavy that the earth shakes… Either that or it was the earthquake that just happened here… I still like to think I may have triggered it
The other day a friend of mine brought me Starbucks when he stopped and got one for himself. I wasn’t expecting it but is sure was a great way to start my day. Another little thing is I probably laugh every day at work with the people I work with, it makes a boring desk job a fun job.
Cycling in the evening, exactly at that point when it becomes effortless. Even better - cycling at night in the snow - when everything is bright from the reflection and all sounds are muffled.
Drinking beer in the shower, or the tub as a second choice.
Kabayaki - eel with some sweet soy sauce. The ultimate taste of summer.
Hey, good thread - I sometimes forget how good life is.
