Show chosen for April 2012. Until then, I will need to work on my shoulder/back development a bit more to balance my lower body. Talked my sister into doing bikini division, too :slight_smile: Should be a good time. Actually, I didnt have to talk her into it. Its something she wanted to get done before she turns 30. She just turned 28 sooo times-a-tickin.

Put carbs back in my diet. AD made me feel pretty lethargic at all times and I didnt really have a real purpose for doing it. Diet now it more of a carb cycling situation. My upper limit on CHOs right now is 150/day when I hit leggies or upper back. Will probably really assess the situation in December and post gasp progress photos. I dont wanna, but Its the way to go, me thinks.

Today I had to be at the homecoming game for work, but I got in a good run. Legs are hella sore from yesterday. Will probably hit a rest day tomorrow.

haha, I’m having something around 150-165g carbs a day too. Keepin’ carbs around .75xBW until I get to under 10%.

I’m trying to stay below 100 grams a day.

I have done well since the repair work.

Andy—those are my upper limits. On lower priority days, I have 65ish and on mid days I have 100ish. Just kind of a rough draft carb cycle. Nothing too crazy. Bodyweight right now is 135 but on days that I hit big lifts and do some sorta cardio work, 135 aint cuttin’ the mustard.

2busy—i just had some shashimi. Thought of you when my sisters plate o’ sushi came out.

April seems so far away to start dieting now. Damn. The discipline that it must take to do a show is beyond me. But, I have no doubt that you will kill it.

Heyyyooo Nadia! Its really more damage control from here until after the holidays. If I can avoid winter weight gain, I think I will be all set for a spring show with a pretty standard plan. I have some lagging bodyparts to work on between now and strict diet time. :slight_smile:

Yes! I am making my return. I did figure a few years back (07-08) and did okay. My last figure show I took 3rd (out of 8) and was kinda discouraged because I knew I needed more development and I knew that would take time. Im hella impatient. Theeeeeeen the next year NPC kicked off the bikini division and I jumped into that and it was kind of perfect for me at the time. I didnt really have to worry about development and the posing was light and fun. I loooved it and did really well on a small scale. The last year-ish (1.5 years, really) I have taken some time off and just been doing powerlifting. I have made some good gains, muscle wise and feel like I miiiight be able to jump into figure again. Im going to feel it out until January. The show I have picked out is late April. I will either do figure or bikini. I know I could be competitive in bikini. Figure will be a challenge. My upper body needs some siiiize. What are your plans next year, booboo?

Wow! I would love to see some of your competition pics so I can use them as inspiration :slight_smile: I can see where bikini would have been a really good fit for you. And I agree, the posing does seem alot more fun…that’s the part I HATE about figure…the quarter turns are just so boring and rigid.

I’m gonna give figure another try…the show I want to do is March 31st. I don’t know if I’m cut out for it but I decided what the hell I’m gonna try it one more time.
