He probably just thinks you are hot and/or enjoys your company. And knows that you probably wouldn’t spring for that many treatments otherwise.
Definitely do it. This might be the thing that saves you from another injury.

Of coarse your going to do it!
Painting kills my grip ! My hand cramps like mad, the only thing that helps is really making sure not to death grip the brush.
I’m seeing my ART guy again tomorrow. He’s worked on me for years and was actually the one who diagnosed the tear in my shoulder after two ortho surgeons said it was just a strain. I trust him completely. My shoulder felt really good today. Not so binding and yet pretty stable.
Really solid bench day today! Not impressive but good for me. Moved my grip in to save my shoulder and rely more on my triceps.
Flat bench

1/104 roughtly my second attempt
1/110 third attempt
Very happy with this. Sadly, I’ve never hit 110 in a meet. I damn well better do it this time.

1/227 straps up . . . my planned opener . . . 2x BW . . . flew up.
1/248.2 my planned second attempt . . . PR! 2.2x BW. Felt hard but thrilled that I got it.
I appreciate anyone who wades through all the bullshit stalling I do before I actually pull. On the platform, I know I’m on the clock and can’t mess with such nonsense.
After that pull, I called it a day, packed up the car, and went camping. No training over the weekend.
Tomorrow I will squat heavy for the last time before my meet. Try out my first, second, and third attempts. One more serious bench day and then I will lay low until the meet on the 30th.
Hey - congrats on the PR! you have more than that in you for your third!
Nicely done.
Good luck at the meet!
fantastic pulling!!!what a great way to bring on the pre meet cool down
that pull was beautiful!!!
your ART guy sounds totally amazing. i bet he is stoked to get to work with someone who is so motivated about their rehab as you are. hard to help people who won’t help themselves. it is good news that things aren’t working properly, i guess. means you have a LOT more in you once they are working properly.
Good job. It did look a bit slow but I find any time I’m going for a heavier weight, it’s slower just because it’s the feel of a new weight.
Is that your velocity? For some reason I thought it was black. BB and are both getting it. They should be here this week.
Nice pull, it was obvious frm the start that you wanted it bad.
get some rest.
That there just loads the confidence! Awesome

I haven’t done any sumo pulling so you may disregard – but this is what I see. Agreeing with JG, in your first rep – your legs are extended more (relative to your second rep) – just at the point where the weight is coming off of the ground your legs are nearing full extension – that means your back is doing more work.

Maybe its just me but on your first rep you looked really uncomfortable and didn’t get your knees out. But on the following reps you pushed your knees out further and aside from your hips being high, which might just be how you lift, were much better.

In your second rep, at the point of the weight coming off the ground, your butt is lower – and it looks like your legs have more bend in them. This actually raises your upper body and head a little bit (notice how your head is now obstructing the bar in the background behind you – in the first rep – we can see all of the bar). In my opinion, in your second rep – your back is in a stronger position.

On the third rep … IEEEEEE!
Well, I can’t really see the point at which the bar comes off the ground. Your “admirers” get in the way.

This looks like a good position (point at which the weight is coming off the ground). You might try a slightly wider stance (feet further apart) – but that would push your hands further apart – which could screw you up.
