Fucking finally.
Much, much better today. I’d say everything is on track for some PRs come meet day, no need to overthink anything at this point. Just load up on pre-workout samples at the Arnold to use next weekend.

Thanks. Na not technically a PR, but if I had wanted to go for an all out set it definitely would have been. I have only hit 405 for a double once before and it was like 10x harder than it was this time.

Well that rounds out an awesome final week of meet prep. Really nice considering how crap everything was feeling for the last month or so, but this week I hit everything I wanted on all 3 lifts. Feeling much more confident going into the meet.
Gonna go to the Arnold this weekend, take it easy next week, and I’ll let you all know how the meet goes.

I actually set my back like always, but instead of setting my feet then I literally pick my feet up and then set them back down. That seems to set my butt/hips/arch in such a way that I can stay down much easier. I then try to slide my feet out as far as possible. My groin mobility is very insufficient, so it’s a bit tough to get as wide as I want.
It’s still a bit of a sink on my press, but not quite as much as before. That’s just kinda how I do pauses.
So there hasn’t been any training lately. I’m just deloading until the meet on Saturday.
