Or is there a happy medium? Is there a hallway they can push them to and lock the fucking door?

A two state solution is a pipe dream because the Palestinians who endorse it see it only as a means of destroying Israel. They’ve been offered a state before and rejected it. They’re not interested in self-determination - only in destroying Israel. It’s amazing that there are still so many people who can’t/won’t see that. It’s the same sort of naivety that led people to believe there would be no war with Germany once we gave them what they wanted: the Rhineland, Austria and the Sudetenland.

There is kind of a hallway. For years, the Israelis have been telling close-to-border arabs that any shelling from those areas will result in forced relocation from those areas to create a DMZ/no man’s land.
Recently, they’ve been dropping fliers — get rid of the missle launchers, or we take the land the launchers are on. Well, nothing has happened.
Looks like we will now push them back, send in the bulldozers and push the DMZ back past the current missle range.
We’ve done this before. After a while, they create longer-range missles, and we have to push the DMZ back further.
So, that’s the “hallway” they are locked in.
They’ll either give up trying to kill us, or eventually run out of land from which to launch rockets.

Yeah I think the Inquisition’s estimates are 3-7 thousand or so. Not on the scale of human sacrifice in Mesoamerica, that’s for certain. But still uncool for sure.

I really don’t like this ‘cease fire’, it’s bullshit. I think it’s time to end Hamas once and for all. I think it’s time to make Gaza part of Israel and no longer an occupied territory. It is obvious there is never ever going to be peace as long as we keep the status quo. End Hamas, get rid of them. End it now.
