As a father I hate the idea both of using a playground as a shield and with shelling those targets knowing that they are close to a playground. Neither side is doing the right thing in my opinion. I would be much more comfortable with ground troops being used.

i understand that, but where else would they put them? In the park or other open areas. U so u realize that Gaza has 4 hours electricity a day? Do you even know the conditions that those people live in? Do you know anyone who lives there? Have you ever been out of your state?

I would definitely be more OK seeing my adult child with boots on the ground than seeing someones 8 year old kid dead from an artillery shell. A man (or woman) with a rifle has a lot more discretion than a 155 round.
And yes, they might go ape shit but who cares? Our media has no impact on the Israeli’s. I also guarantee that if they used that as the reason that more people would be OK with it.

I’m an old school “boots on the ground” type of guy.
I think that shelling and using rockets against a civilian population is what terrorists do but it’s not for a civilized country to do. I would much prefer to see Israel send in troops against these fighters and take out the rockets that way. A rifleman is going to avoid shooting kids and the innocent where an unguided munition doesn’t care. You would think that the world would have figured that one out after WWII and the crumbled cities that were the result of our bombers.
