Is this bullshit or what?

I was reading through an issue of the Anabolic Insider and read a three page advertisement for this series of three prohormone products. One is Equibolan, the second is called Maxteron, and the third is Dirmagain. All three are prohormone products, and the author states that the Equibolan converts to real boldenone (Equipoise) at a conversion rate of 11%. The same is true for the second two products, but an exact conversion rate isn’t given. Maxteron is supposed to be a precursor to Masteron, and Dermagain is androdiol and nor-androdiol, which the author says is just as good as a light test/deca stack. Anybody have any info on this shit. Obviously, the bullshit light went off pretty quickly as I read this, but after having read about Biotest’s new pro-steroids, I was hoping that maybe there was some legitimacy to this stuff?

There is some legitimacy to it.

“Equibolan” is indeed the 17-keto analogue
of boldenone: i.e., it is to boldenone
as androstenedione is to testosterone,
and can be converted to the active hormone
in the same manner (via 17bHSD) as androstenedione is converted to testosterone.

However, I’ll bet good money – VERY good money – that they have zero evidence that in man
11% of what is taken orally, at a reasonably
good dose, converts to boldenone. In fact I am sure that is not true.

It’s a potentially interesting product and
if anyone is curious to try it, it would
be an interesting thing to do. BTW, what
(probably little) fraction of it that converts
to boldenone is yielding a Class I steroid,
so if you get say 400 mg/week worth
of actual conversion, it could be worth
adding to Androsol or Nandrosol. But more
likely you get much less than that so the
results may not be noticeable. I applied
a gram per day topically in an Androsol-like
formulation, which I’d think would have had
to deliver as much as they deliver orally
or more, but noticed nothing from it, so
personally I’m not pumped on the product
(nor did I notice anything from oral use
but then again I gave it only a week.)

“Maxteron” is not a precursor of dromostanolone (Masteron.) Rather it is androSTANEdiol (not
androstenediol) which is potent in growing
the prostate but not muscle. I would totally
stay away from this one as a bodybuilding
product. However it has interesting immune
stimulating properties.

I am not familiar with their “Dermagain”
product.
