I’ve been on TRT and cycling for years and just ramped up my dose to 500 test and 250 primo which I have done before. After 4 weeks of this I’m having prostate issues and pissing all night like 5x a night and have urgency. I went to the urologist and he gave me a DRE and said “YOUR PROSTATE IS ENORMOUS” and scheduled me for an ultrasound. Just curious about some of your experiences for you older guys (I’m mid 40s) is this temporary if i stop the cycle and go back down to TRT? I’ve had prostate issues off and on but this is the worst it has ever been. I had a urinalysis done as well and it was clean. MMy DRE also had no lumps just large and smooth. PSA is 2 which is where it has been for years and years.
You post reads like there’s prostate reduction surgery in your future.
I’ve had the surgery twice, about 5 years apart. First time was due to complete blockage. Unbelievably unbearable. Second one was because the prostate grew back so surgery was a precaution. I had been taking prework drinks and I think that caused my experiences. I now piss like a horse. You’ll be told to drink more water.
One perk from all that is my urologist hands out sex pills like candy. Also, it got kinda fun to piss a bladder full of mostly blood after surgery, and subsequent infrequent loose scabs.
You’ll do well. I have a friend who’s had 3 such surgeries.
