No, it is December, 2012. Don’t you know anything about the Mayan calender?
Biden speech. “I know how to fix America…”
My question is, why now? What is motivating you to fix America now? 35 years of service? You NOW know how to fix America?

Maybe 'cause he thinks Bush did a lot of damage?
“why now”?? cuz he’s closer to power than ever before, silly poster.

Let’s see a list of his accomplishments that qualify him for the job. I’m sure there’s a list somewhere.
Let’s see…hmmm…
Why is he qualified again?
You’re aware I was speaking of Biden, right?

He kinda says that stuff all the time. Very, very entertaining. He’s also a helluva politician.
In my eyes, at least, he balances the whole experience issue somewhat. Not enough to give Obama my vote, but at least now I’m not completely against voting for him.
Right. Biden is a very experienced guy, esp. on foreign policy. Not that I agree with a lot of Biden’s opinions, but he’s got chops at least.
I thought it was hilarious…when it was announced on the news that Obama had just picked Biden there was a segment on Biden, with the news anchor saying “Biden knows how Washington works and he knows the international scene, two areas where Obama is seen as needing help”
I thought, those are the two big areas that the POTUS is supposed to know like the back of his hand. why in the HELL did they let him run for president again?
I mean, I’d realized this long ago, it was just amazing listening to the anchor repeat unintentionally expose the idiocy on the TV.

What should have McCain even more worried is that Biden can actually remember how many houses he owns, no matter when you surprise him with that difficult question.

Yes, obviously if a person is not aware of every single investment in his wife’s portfolio, then he has no reason to be president.
Or does he not qualify because he has so many houses?

Well, of course he has said that he knows nothing about economics; why should he even know what’s going on in his own household.
Maybe Cindy should run and he could nap in the background.
I was only kidding. I’m sure he couldn’t answer because he’s preoccupied with important things like the current situation in Czechoslavakia. Foreign policy his where he gets all his cred and chops from, right?

“…and he doesn’t even know how many house he owns! Can you believe that? Hello? I can barely hear you.”

Opinions are cheap.
The attacks on American soil since 9/11 number how many?
Obama and Biden will run a very close losing election.
Empty suit and loose lips do not make a good team. Hilly’s feminazi’s are pissed.
Thank you for you interest in American politics, however. That’s very kind.
Hope you came up with a reasonable solution to your stolen food.
Wasn’t Obama the one who said that he had been to 57 of the states?
add in the one that he hasn’t been to yet, and the 2 that he wasn’t allowed to go to and we now have 60 states…
man… my 5 year old niece knows that we only have 50 states…
He has the balls to call out McCain because he doesn’t know the full extent of his wifes portfolio, but he himself doesn’t know how many states there are? WTF!

Will they allow Photoshop during the debates?
It’d be cool seeing McCain meet his first computer.

I’m getting somewhat tired of this line. While undoubtedly true (the answer is 0 of course), it really doesn’t mean anything. Even if I would like it to. Before 9/11 what was the last major attack/attempted attack by terrorists on home soil? The last Trade Center bombings in 1993. And before that…I don’t even remember.
So basically it’s what, maybe 8 year average between attacks, if you can extrapolate from the only two major attacks I can remember (not counting Ok City, that was 2 individual wackos not an organization).
The saying “the attacks on American soil since XXXX number how many?” is only a valid point when there is long enough of a time to compare accurately.
We’d need to get significanly past the average time gap between attacks (to, say, at least 2016 or so) to say we’ve stifled any major terrorist action on our soild, and that’s assuming the 8 year average is accurate (which I highly doubt it is).
Even then, that single correlation is not an undeniable guarantee that anything we’ve done policy-wise since the last major incursion was directly responsible.

I would imagine he is on the phone with Biden, who is letting him know how a foreign crisis got handled while Obama was at book club.

More likely they’re just having a good laugh about McCain’s preoccupation with the Iraq-Pakistan border situation.

Or is he on the phone with an Afghani diplomat trying to figure out why he isn’t speaking Arabic?

I’m thinking he may be asking Joe if he knows of a good source for arugala …
