Its 10.7 ng/dl, the range i was given was 14-55, symptoms are zero libido ED and depression, got my T checked it was 600 ng/dl no base line for e2, started TRT any way out of desperation T went up to 850 ng/dl and thats when i got my e2 result, bear in mind thats post TRT so can only assume e2 was lower before starting TRT…please help.
Did you have SHBG checked ?
Yes its 34.7, every thing else is good in range other then e2.
Yes its 34.7 everything else is good with in range
Yeah, E2 is too low. Are you on any kind of AI?
When I was on cream… I didn’t get anything much in the way of good effects, so I guessed my E was too high so I started taking Chrysin to bring it down. Crashed hard… things really sucked. It finally dawned on me I was screwing up, dropped the Chrysin and things at least when back to normal.
No AI im naturally too low also this blood was taken 5 months on TRT so can only assume it was lower before TRT
I havent had any libido in 12 years and pretty damn depressed, could my e2 be causing this?
Could very well be the case. Ya gotta have some to “get the job done”.
I have tried cream with arimidex (1/2 pill) - e-2 was down in single digits - now on injections and even 1/4 arimidex will make me get too low - same problem as you - ED - libido OK - want to have it but dont always pursue because will not always work - dont want to start something you cant finish - VTBalla gave me some advice to check DHT - I believe low DHT =s ED problems - do you have your DHT level to share ?
If you think ED issues may be from DHT give Proviron a shot. It’s harmless and if DHT is your issue you’ll know real quick. For mood and ED I had much better results with HGH. Test rarely seems to be the answer.
If your E2 is to low run high doses of HCG and lower your Test dose. That will certainly drive up E2.
Every thing other then my e2 is good, extremely depressed, trying to get on HCG
No DHT, cortisol or dhea, they dont seem to test for these in Ireland, trying to get my doc to prescribe HCG, first month on TRT depression gone, sexual Desire and spontainious erections returned but all benifets seemed to fade away, would love to get all this back. No real HRT doctors here even the head endo thought my low e2 was insignificant in regards to my symptoms, depression started when I was 15 thinking this was when e2 started to effect me mid puberty, libido completely disapeared at 18, Im 29 never even had sex due to zero interest.
Hey Whateves,
List your stats, How old are you ? Hgt, Wgt, BF%.
Do you exercise ? What is your activity level ? Desk job, labor ?
Do you have other blood work that you can post ?
I am no expert, but at 28 and T at 600, Low T isn’t and wasn’t your issue.
Post your bloodwork, there are guys on this board that can really help.
I know low T isn’t the issue hence the title of the thread “is my e2 too low”, I asked my Gp for a trial of estrogen cream he said no, only way to raise my e2 is through hcg / trt, hcg would be the better option.
I don’t lift or work out just trying to get the opinions of guys in the know about hormones given there are no HRT specialists in my area.
Im about 5’9 in height and slightly overweight.

OK, this is probably bad advice, but its one of the only things I can think of that raises E2 in a hurry, DBOL.
Yes, its an AAS, no…its not a good idea, but it is notorious for aromatizing into E2 in a hurry.
You can take it orally for a week, and it will raise your E2. If you have no relief you just stop taking it.
Please only consider this as a last resort. I am sure others will look at your blood work and have much better
advice, or perhaps another method to raising E2.
Also joints in my legs very sore cracking in my ankles, two months off TRT depression getting pretty severe I take it this is crashing?
Whatever,
What kind of bodyfat percentage do you think you have? What sort of workout regimen? Pkny was correct in asking, these are big deals.
It’s terrible (in the eyes of this 51-yo, who would give his right nut to go back to being 20 knowing what I know now…) to have gone through your 20’s with no libido. I hope you can turn that around soon. Do you have a girl (or girls) in your life that are close, romantically, even if not (yet) physically? I hope so, guys need that… a lot more than they might think… emotionally, mentally, and chemically.
Dean Dont have a clue about body fat percentage, always been quite well built / muscular but slightly over weight, what Iv experienced from TRT it wasnt just a Desire for physical sex I started to experience romantic feelings again like seeing a beautiful woman and feeling like Im in love so really think the two are linked one in the same / hormonal, not having this makes life literally worth less, had it back for a while so know it can be done again, I have a hormone out of wack and hope getting e2 in range will fix this…thanks guys for your responses.
From that description a safe guess is something over 15% (maybe not by much)… unless you are a bit more padded than you let on, lol. Not extreme at all.
Yes, you can get it back. Just keep at it. You’ll find the right girl for you, too. ![]()
