Is Milk That Bad?

This is gross misinterpretation of what some of us have been saying.

Milk is one of the foods that is the most allergenic or to which the most peoples are intolerant too. Eating (or drinking in that case) a food to which you have even a mild allergy or intolerance will put a stress on your body thus will lead to cortisol increases.

So what I’m saying is that if you are even slightly intolerant or allergic to milk, then don’t drink it.

It also causes a pretty important spike in insulin. So if you are trying to lose a lot of fat (especially if you are on a low-carbs diet) milk should be avoided.

If you are on a low-carbs/ketogenic diet, milk should be avoided simply due to its high carbs content.

But if you are not allergic or intolerant to milk, and if you are in a muscle gaining phase it is acceptable to drink it. Especially if you have problems getting all your calories/nutrients in.

How do you know if you’re allergic to it or not?

By not using the word “allergic” to describe symptoms of lactose intolerance. Allergies would mean a physical reaction, usually respiratory or the formation of a rash. In fact, you would know if you had a true allergy to milk by now.[/quote]

How would you tell if you were lactose intolerant?

By drinking milk and noticing extreme gas expression (FARTS) or stomach discomfort followed by diarrhea (MASSIVE SHITS).

The previous post has been Cliff noted to ease the pressure of researching this shit yourself.

I’ve finally found a source of raw milk. It’s illegal to sell here (Melbourne, Australia) as food, but they can sell it as cosmetic ‘bath’ milk.

I’m loving it. It doesn’t seem to bloat me like pasturized milk and my skin is acne free so far.

It’s fucking ridiculous that you can buy know killers like cigarettes, but not raw milk due to risk of some bacteria.

Again, their is a VAST difference between raw whole milk and its bastard cousin “pasteurized”. To say their isnt without having tried both is to be a brain dead idiot… and as far as the potential “safety” issues and threat to your health, is far more scienctific fudgepacking and political BS than anything. Find yourself a good trusted source (which means a farmer who practices good hygienic standards in regards to their milk) of raw milk and you will realize a lot of the convienent “truths” by the so-called medical experts are full of shit.

To say raw milk is the same as pastuerized milk in terms of health is kinda like saying drinking soda is as good for ya as drinking pure spring water. One is good while the other plainly is NOT.

Sorry, if it pisses you off so much then don’t answer.

Nothing pissed me off. I am pointing out how lazy you are. The questions you asked could be easily searched for in under 10 seconds on Google if you had put forth ANY effort at all of your own.

Funny how you missed that.

Damn it I want to try some raw milk now…hopefully they’ll sell it at the farmers markets that start soon here, since its legal in CT.

go to realmilk.com and find a supplier.

Trust me when I say this… it really is that MUCH BETTER than that imposter wannabe milk sold at your local grocery store. (Now that I think about it, gonna have to go get some raw colostrum as well:)

Well, you obviously aren’t omniscient. The very first thing I did was google it. Yeah, I found an answer…not one I was pleased with, though. I mean, I found out some of the obvious things but the obvious things didn’t apply to me. Some people don’t even realize the problems milk is causing them and if somebody gets a big rash it’s kinda obvious.

Raw Milk rocks!

JESUS! what are you a dairy farmer? i mean i like milk myself, but damn!

Love the raw. Trader Joe’s carries it near me. That stuff tastes amazing. A couple glasses before bed and some peanut butter has me sleeping like a baby.

There’s a website that list where you can get it in every state. I’m sure you could find it with Google

How much is Trader Joe’s charging? do they sell in gallons or half gallons? is it the Organic Pastures brand? I have not found it at my local Trader Joe’s and have to get it at a health food store, which is kind of pricey.
