Is this a sin?

I get that you’re being facetious, but there are no grades of sin. Sin is sin. It’s all the same in the eyes of God.

You joined the forum just to post that? And you’re wrong.

So I could have been killing people instead of jacking off this whole time and the results would be the same?

Damnit! :man_facepalming:.

That should be double ended.

Boy, how did i miss this thread? I must have been pounding off.

Im curious as to motivation for starting the thread more than the question. Obviously, if you’re catholic or some type of legitimate protestant, you know the answer.

What do the snake handlers say?

They’d say if the snake bites your hand then your hand must have done something wrong!

I knew a guy who was a member of one of those churches (in TN, if that’s relevant,) and he was adamant that masturbation was a sin. However, he had all kinds of techniques to have wet dreams, since that was apparently a loophole.

He would tell us about the dreams too, which was very uncomfortable. I remember he told us he drempt he was a 200 foot tall woman who was flying around and used the Statue of Liberty as a dildo.

Kind of makes the snakes sound normal.

Seventh day Adventist or Pentecostal?

We visited one when I was a kid down by Seneca Rocks WVa. Pretty neat. They also did and still do a big rattlesnake round up.

No, bro.

Don’t let others who don’t actually read and understand the Bible tell you otherwise/

It’s the addiction that’s wrong, not masturbation. The Bible never says that masturbation is a sin.

If you are addicted to anything, it is bad. That being said, I am happily married and still masturbate.

I find this wording very interesting and cannot wait to see where it leads.

The whole “if you are thinking it, it is a sin”.

I don’t think that part is interpreted correctly in the Bible.

Lust is a deep craving. Lusting is not “thinking of” someone naked. I don’t deeply crave the women I thought of while masterbating, I just liked the way they looked.

Most of the incorrect interpretations of the Bible are from Catholicism which is the worst Christian faction IMHO for sex ed.

I think the fact those women were blood relatives might make it a sin.

Are there any inanimate objects that you just like the way they look? Try masturbating thinking of them.

There’s a Zappa song for that.

Most of the album, actually.

What about the “just get it over” jerk? You’re all caught up on work, the house is clean, you already worked out, no one else will be home for hours, nothing is interesting on the internet, so you look down and think “Ok buddy, it’s just you and me.”
