Is a 400 Pound Deadlift Attainable for Most Women?

Look just pull 400lbs, then they’ll stop

Hmmmm… that’s a thought. I made cookies last night so… maybe I am on my way. I am sitting at 130lbs now, can still wear my size 0 pants but they are definitely filled out. I am thinking 140 may be where I need to be :rofl::rofl:

As threads are groundhog daying, I’ll contribute: did you deadlift 705 or sumo?

Worse, Sumo on a deadlift bar. 685 is still my best stiff pull.

It seems that OP’s question essentially is asking if a 400 lb deadlift is just a mediocre pull for a woman.

It sounds silly when you put it like that.

I know this is all in good fun but I never understood the hate for sumo (and no I don’t pull sumo ahahah)

While sumo deadlifting, a guy I know was saying he should try it because he would likely get a PR. I said no time like now. He can pull about 465, couldn’t break 405 off the floor. This guy wasn’t trying to be an ass (I actually thought he might pull more sumo, because he is built similar to me, and I am better sumo).

Some people are better at conventional, some sumo.

I saw a mastodon bar recently. It is like an elephant bar with a thinner shaft. That with some figure 8s, and I should get a PR.

The mastodon is a squat bar, you pull on it and I will find you and take out your kneecaps

I was thinking mammoth. It is a 10’ long deadlift bar.

Also, I can’t imagine I would hurt the mastodon bar by deadlifting with it. Doesn’t it have like a 3000 lb weight capacity?

Damn 130 in size zero? You must have some serious muscle mass

As a male… wth is size 0 lol

Us women’s size are are starting at 0 (I think), which is like a 24" waist (I think). Then they go up by inches. I could be totally wrong, just something I heard.

I don’t even know what to say here. It sure doesn’t look like it, or at least not as much as I would like. It certainly isn’t on my toothpick arms  Probably just weird pants, but I have been able to wear them for years now.

I don’t know, it’s what the tag says. I wear a boys size 16 shorts.

Is that boys age 16?

Hope not, their parents will be very mad.

I am not sure I understand the question, but no. I think technically they are called youth sizes. Like for 10-12 year olds.
