Just to check if anyone know is 5000IU vitamin D3 too much for normal adult? Kind of worried now, scares that I make a mistake. Do let me know if its safe for normal adult to take it? Is it okay to stack with vitamin b complex and vitamin e?Is anyone taking vit D3 5000IU is there any side effect?
It say have 1 capsules daily. This is what I read online, just wondering if anyone same as me. This is why Iām checking whether 5000IU is safe for normal adult.
That is still below the toxicity threshold. I suggest reading up on the consequences of overdosing on vitamin D and cases of vitamin D toxicity, the latter will put into perspective that 5000IU daily is pretty far removed from the danger zone.
Yes. You could probably go as high as 10,000IU per day for upwards of a year and be fine.
The issue is more so with having complementary nutrients such as Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin A on a daily basis.
I was taking 6,700 IU for years (body weight between 187-200) and I was only around 47 when tested (upper limit 100, toxicity 150). Having said that, everyone is different. Since I get sick a couple times every winter, Iāve added another 5,000 IU. Iāll get bloodwork again in the spring to see what my levels are.
