I just saw it came out on elitefts. Did anyone purchase it? I’ve met Stevey P in person and the guy is hilarious, however, I am not sure I wanna spend $$$ on an ebook just for shit and giggles. I can watch stand-up for that. My question is, is there enough actual training content in there (Steve certainly knows his shit) and what do you think about it?
i bought it, started it this week. I like it so far. In a few months I’ll know if it was worth dropping the cash for
Is there anything more lifting related besides the sample 4-week program that is mentioned in the description?
his favorite assistance exercises for each lift. his philosophies on lifting, eating, injuries, etc.
I’d been looking forward to this coming out but then the product description on EFS has stopped me from buying it as wanted to know how much more info it provides than the Iron Sport Strength Method article EFS put out a few months back:
I’d be grateful if anyone could confirm.
Thanks
The program in the e-book is similar to the article but is definitely different. Pulcinella details a lot about assistance lifts which is not in that article.
He also talks about his philosophies on everything related to strength training which is worth the $19.99 by itself.
Even if you don’t plan on doing the program you’ll most likely still learn something from it.
Man, for $20 bucks?? I don’t think you can really go wrong if your looking for something new to try or follow.
I bought it and enjoyed it. I think it’s worth it.

Ah come on, ya damn cheapskate, buy the book. Maybe if you didn’t pay those expensive dues at that hipster Crossfit gym, you’d have more spending cash.

Shhhtttt - my Crossfit addiction must remain a secret - it is something I hold very dear to my heart
I ended up buying the hardcopy - definitely pleased I purchased it. The description of the Iron Sport Method is far clearer than the article on EFS and also gives options with bands, with chains, with neither. There are reminders of the basics and all the ‘need to know’ info on strength training throughout the book. When you consider you can apply the ISM for as long as you wish to and also that you get a 4 week routine layed out I think $20 is well worth it.
