I see stupid (translate - liberal) people. A smart liberal is an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp.
I don’t fully understand either why we have to go after Iraq now when we should have done it in the first place. I guess its because he is cleaning up his father mess. I don’t think Saddam is crazy enough to have assissted the terriosts. He was bound to loose the sanctions within a few years. He has gotten a stronger grip around Iraq with the sanctions than with out them.
But I do see why he does have to go. He lost the war and accepted a surrender. But yet he doesn’t play by any of the rules. Thats more our fault for not jumping on him the minute he broke one of the rules.
About the allies not supporting us. Well lets face it. We are America and everyone hates America at the sametime they envy us. I was in Argentina and they would say bad things about America but on there TVs they would copy American style and they held American cash with higher value than their own. ALL major transactions (i.e rent) was paid in American. But back to the allies. They love to hate us. Publicly they have to say they will not support the US, that makes their people happy. But behind the scenes they support the USA. Because the government understands they have to back up their ally. Im not saying this is the case with Saudia Arabia. I think they are really our enemy disquised as our ally. Hell no one in the Middle East can be trusted, not a single nation. With the exception of Turkey because they are NATO. But the other allies can be.
Lets take France for an example. They hate the USA, thats a given. They publicly complain against us. In front of the media its no no no. But behind the scenes they help us. During the attacks on Afghan. They had a carrier positioned of the coast of Pak to help out. They had their special forces on the ground with the USA. Same with Germany, they also have troops on the ground. It really depends on the country you deal with but most countries will be with us when the time comes.

scot ritter one of the guys who did inspections in iraq claims that iraq does not have weapons of mass destruction nor the capability to build them anymore. by the way ritter is a marine,a republican [foolish] and he voted for bush[worse yet]. now he is running around saying that bush is like a drunk driver-someone has to stop him. anyway use a search engine and check out what he has to say.
If Saddam has not aquired these weapons I’m sure it’s a relief to many. However, why wait until he does?
