anyone able to get internet connection while tethering/opening a wifi spot with a hacked iPhone on the PS3?
for some reason it’s not picking it up. Even though my computer and other computers pick it up.
the PS3 picks up a neighbors signal but it is encrypted
I’ve done it with a 360, so I don’t know how much help I can be. Do you have a 3G, 3GS, or an IPhone 4?
Since your computer is picking up the signal, maybe run a cat5 from your ps3 to the computer? Or, not sure about this, you could right click the connection, select properties. Click the sharing tab, then click “Share this Connection”. I don’t know much on using it, but google might.

yeah, I did some googling and the Cat5 seems to be the way to go.
