So just to clarify I’m not allowed to enjoy my money? I’m required to use only the minimum to sustain myself and then give the rest away?

Ha.

Not what I’m saying at all. I’m not gonna flip this thread and make it about humanity/social consciousness and all that. LOL This is not the place.

No no no, youre right. We should all give our hard earned money to others, cause its not like they get it anyways with all the taxes we pay to support them.

Sorry about my comment.

I was merely trying to point out how many people try so hard to avoid these people. I just spent a day with my friend observing subways and streets and we were touched by how people treat the homeless.

Maybe its all the conscious hip hop I’ve been listening to that I suddenly started to sound like a damn activist.

But you know all about this. The shit we take for granted and spend money on.

I agree, it is your money, but just trying to raise some kind of awareness.

And like I said, disregard my comment, this is not the place, just got carried away thats all.

Android users -

Question on droid ‘motion’.

Does your phone have motion detect where if you’re holding the device flat (horizontal) in your hand and you ‘flick’ it upward like flipping a coin or a pancake? Does it detect that motion, or does it just do tilting and rotation?

lol

Ha ha! I try to tell this to people all the time. Most apple fan boys can understand that the iphone is no longer better than other phones and cant comprehend. To each their own, just know the facts please. Im obviously an android guy too… mainly because I dont want somebody telling me what kind of experience I can have on my phone. I want to create my own.

Anyone looking for the upgrade, here is a benchmark of the latest iOS and Android phones.

As you can see, even the iPhone 4 with iOS 5 is faster than the SGS 2.

Also, for a change, they’ve actually released a version of iOS that actually improves the speed of your phone (iOS4.3 vs iOS5 on your iPhone 4) with nearly 700ms difference.

Unless you really want Siri Voice, stick with the 4.

Huh, pretty interesting.

Great full review on the iPhone 4S, including pictures:

OK, I want to open this thread up to TABLETS.

Anyone use one regularly? Pros/Cons? iPAD v Android v Other? GACKBerry?

Got the update now I want to get rid of that stupid fucking book shelf…I like a clean screen and it’s messing up the vibe.

I have an HP Touchpad, and for what I paid for it during their fire-sale, it’s a great little device for couch surfing an email. But, I would have never picked up a tab for the retail prices they go for.

The iPad is currently the best out there, hands down. If you’re never used a tablet, I highly recommend trying one out in person before passing judgement on them.

However, they still have a way to go if you’re thinking of using them for ‘real’ work or as a replacement for a computer.

Personally, I’m waiting for Win 8 to drop next year and then I’ll pick up a tablet that offers a full-blown OS that can play nicely with everything else I use for work.

If anything, I’d buy this. A real keyboard makes posting on forums or answering emails bearable, it adds some connectivity and it almost doubles the battery life. And if I’m gonna spend that much money on something to browse the internet with it has to support flash.

But it seems like there’s a new version coming out very soon with a way better processor. And possibly Android 4.0.

The Kindle Fire seems interesting though. And you can’t really go wrong with an iPad, but I just feel like it can’t really do anything that my significantly cheaper iPod can’t.

Sprint just sent me email that they will have the iphone available.

From what I hear they’re one of the best networks to be on in the US. Unlimited data still in action?

You thinking of getting one?

Yep I have 4 lines, unlimited with 1500 minutes and pay $230 monthly, that is with insurance and everything.

Sorry forgot to answer you question. I have the Android Evo have NO complaints at all, however I do have a couple of kids that would rather have the Iphone.
