Squat with suit 180x2 - 210x2 - 210x2
Deadlift with suit 185x2 - 225x2 - 245x2
Goodmorning no belt 2x7 @60kg
2x15 leg ext, curl and calves
Man… now i remember why i stopped lifting equipped! It hurts so bad… First time with straps up on squat in 2,5 years. Not heavy weight, but i can’t use my power because i’m not used to this shit… So starting off easy.
Spen much time getting on my brand new deadlift suit. It was really tight, but got in stretchet a bit when lifting. Light weight, but hard to grab the bar because i use straps because of the hand… So it will be way much easier when not using straps!

Strong deadlift! When you heal up 650 must be real close.

Thanks! Deadlift has always been a good movement for me. Gonna do some strong lifts in this new suit
Well i only have 2 meets left this year. The first meet will be equipped, and the christmas meet raw. So i hope for a 650kg raw at the christmas meet. Don’t know yet what i’m capable for in suits for the meet in october…
Bench press Superkatana 150x2 - 160x2 - 165x2 - 165x2
Bench press from pins 2x5 @170kg
4x pull-ups in ropes and seated rowing
2x bic and tri with barbell
2x hammer grip bic, tri
2x abs, 4x forearm
Too much assistance work… Have to cut down on that next time…
Bench press was easy and good technique. Going up 5kg every session.
My training partner tried a shirt for the first time ever today, my katana. He ended up doing a repetition on 185kg, not going all the way down. He’s only about 83kg bw. The best first-time shirt lifter i have ever seen!
A1 Squat w/stop 25 reps total @130kg
A2 Snatch-deadlift no belt 25 reps total @125kg
B1 Farmers walk dumbbells (with straps) ramping up to 50kg
C1 Lunges, walking w/dumbbells 2x10
C2 Calves 2x25
Puh, what a workout… Short of breath and sweating like a pig… But got through with good reps! Switching to frontsquat and powerclean the next workouts.

Doing great man! It’d be fun to try a bench shirt out one day
Yeah you should try that! But it can be really tricky getting the technique correct, so get together with someone that knows the shirtbench well… But it’s really fun when you get a strong lift
A1 Bench press green band on chest. 25reps total @150kg
A2 Pushpress 25 reps total @75kg
2x10-15 incline dumbbell press, upright rowing, shrugs
2x10-15 cable cross, face pull, side raises
2x15 bic, tri, wrist
Not the smoothest reps i’ve done, but good lifting and a well done session. Switching to straight benching and standing press the next 25-workouts, on light weights.
Gonna do a 40-60min easy cardio in the woods tomorrow, then get ready for equipped squats and deads on wednesday
Squat with suit 185x2 - 205x2 - 215x2
Deadlift with suit 185x2 - 230x2 - 250x1,5
2x15 leg ext, leg curl, calves
Felt some pain in my lower back during squats. It’s probably from all the paused squat… So i was careful squatting. But deadlift always feels good for my back for some reason So no pain deadlifting, it just got better! Guess i’m not built for squatting, only deadlifting…
So today i did deadlifts without straps! That’s why only 1,5 reps on 250, i lost the grip in my right hand half way up. But i’m so happy that i’m able to deadlift ordinary again!
Bench press with Superkatana 150x2 - 160x2 - 170x2
3x pull ups in ropes, seated rowing, lat drag
2x bic, tri
2x forearm, wrist and abs
Tired in my pressing muscles, but it was light weight. Filmed the last to, gonna post it when i have more lifting filmed… Have a local meet in 2,5 weeks, so have to continue the equipped lifting.
A1 Front squat 25 reps total @110kg
A2 Deadlift no belt 25 reps total @140kg
B1 Farmers walk dumbbells (w/straps) ramping up to 60kg
2x 1 legged leg press, calves, abs
Had strong pain in my lower back today during squats, so had to be really careful… Hurt bad when sitting in the hole. But deadlifting did not hurt, it only made my back feel better! Have a massage with akupressure tomorrow, hope it will get better then… And rest from squatting till monday… But the weights was really easy.
A1 Bench press, 25 reps total cluster sets @120kg
A2 Shoulder press standing, 25 reps total cluster @60kg
2x10-15 incline dumbbell press, upright rowing, shrugs
2x10-15 cable cross, facepull, side raises
2x10 bic hammer, tri hammer
2x wrist and abs
My first time ever doing cluster sets. Felt really good! Weight was good, gonna increase 2,5kg next time.
Went to massage with akupressure after training, so hope i’m able to squat on monday…
3x abs
A1 Squat 2x100x6 - 2x115x5 - 2x125x4 - 2x135x3
B1 Bench press cluster 4x5 @125kg
B2 Cable cross 4x7
C1 Snatch-deadlift no belt cluster 3x5 @100kg
2x leg ext and leg curl
4x calves
Damn, the cluster sets take time…!
Since i can only bench press at the meet next week, i just started a new powerlifting routine, raw in squat and deadlift, shirted in bench press. My back still hurts, so i squatted really carefully. As usual, the deadlift only made me feel a lot better!
I plan to do a strongman competition the first weekend of august. This routine will finish off just before that, so it’s good timing. Gonna start up again with the suited squat and deadlift after that.

I am planning a smolov cycle next…wish me luck!!
It’s getting better, but the grip is crap… Still stiff and swollen, but i try to do the best out of it… So glad i’m able to deadlift and power clean again
Smolov jr or the ordinary? In squats only?
Smolov is always fun hehe Hard but you always gain something!
