I’m a high school senior and have been dating an awesome girl for a few months now. We live in a northern climate and this time of year it’s hard to think of inexpensive, interesting, and fun things to do on dates. Any suggestions?

Winter specific dates are cool (no pun intended). Take her snow shoeing, skiing (could get pricey, though), ice skating, or you could arrange for a sleigh ride.
something that she will love and you will hate (and she knows you will hate it.) like a play, nsync concert, museum, botanical gardens, etc. try to schedule it on a night where you have to sacrifice something, like watching monster trucks or seeing the new jenna jameson movie. this will score mad points and the next date she will take you someplace awesome, like a midget tossing contest or a female sumo wrestling match.

In town here, we’ve got a bug zoo. I’ve always thought that would be a good place to go I don’t know if that’s stupid or what. You probably don’t have something like that in your town anyway.
Grab a roll of quarters and go to an arcade… play only games that you can compete in.
I guess this depends greatly on where you live but, how 'bout grabbing a pinic basket and head to the woods. Do some day hiking and then chow.
