Can’t wait to get this meet other with so I can begin the next chapter in my lifting life: STRONGMAN … I’m mean actual pages too … I was not born but forged from wood, concrete, and steel. That’s why I’m so strong …
I’ve reorganized my training for the rest of the week. The session from Monday will be finished tomorrow and then Friday, I’ll work on my bench opener and competition grip followed by upper back and lat work. The weekend will consist of power work and ab work. There will be very little if any metabolic work. Then next Monday, I’ll do some paused squats, speed bench, and push press, so that I’m not completely useless and detrained by the time I hit the platform. From that point, I’ll probably rest leading up to the meet. I’m about 1/3 ready at this point. After Monday, I should be ready to kick ass … hopefully lol.

USPF teen raw division. Goals are 540-570 squat, 345-380 bench, and 560-615 deadlift. This my first meet, so I’m just trying get my feet wet.

A lot of my friends are going, so there will definitely be videos even if I have to buy a camera myself.
Bout time you got some videos of your lifts. Can’t wait to see how you do at your first meet. From personal experience, get that first lift in, then go for the records. It was kinda nerve wracking to miss my first lift in my last meet.

I feel you
So I open my closet door, wrap my index and middle finger around the fulcrum of the lever because that’s all I can fit on there. Then proceed to pull (because I like doing stuff like that) from side where I was sitting (the closet is right next to my desk). It was within two seconds that felt and heard the handle give. So I closed the closet and pretended nothing happened. Almost broke the couch in the common room too. I’m dangerous when I’m bored apparently.
