Should probably mention that, on the floater bench, I use a REALLY close grip.
How close?

Nice pressing sir.
Index fingers right next to the smooth, so the knuckle of my thumb is about .5" into the the smooth.

It feels like I’ve been really stagnant for the past few months. I’m attempting the weights with newborn fury. Trusting my instincts and what not.

I’m assuming the length of the bar that is smooth can vary bar to bar though? My close-grip position was 2 fingers on the smooth, two fingers out, and my standard pressing position starts about 4 fingers out from the smooth.

I haven’t tried as close as I see some guys do though (hands about 1 hand width apart)

Also: good plan, my plan is actually eating enough and who knew, I’m a couple pounds up…

“Floater” bench… is this close-grip with your ass/feet off the bench? That would be an Inhuman Press.

How do you like them?

I always found myself cramping in my hammier or lower back because of how hard I tucked then, and apparently couldn’t. lol. Didn’t hit my triceps terrible well vs CGs either, so I’m just curious as to how they work for you.

I know. That grip puts my hand a little inside shoulder width.

Yes it is.

Great for upper body power and training tightness. I actually get a stronger arch with my feet up. Likely due to hip tightness.

Have a new resolve. This Monday, shit’s getting real.

Ass of the bench as well? Or just a regular bench with you feet floating in the air?

I agree

I have tomorrow planned out perfectly in my head. Now I just need to do my absolute best to insure that I’m prepared. As tomorrow works at least 90% according to plan (which I’m sure it will), I’ll be pleased. I’m two weeks out. Need to make the most of this week. Leave nothing to chance.

Never understood wtf went wrong with physics for that to end the way it did

Is this the real life?

Also, that video has the most uncomfortable editing I’ve ever seen.

Interested in reading about your plan for today. Hope it all goes well.

i love the internet

For those that are into movies, I’d make two suggestions: Shaolin and Ironclad. Both are on Netflix. Some of the best movies I’ve seen in all. Give them a look if you have the time. Shaolin will change the way you look at things. Serious.
