First time I’ve checked out this log. Yet another extremely young guy already years ahead of me in progress (im 20). Frustrating maybe, but mostly just motivating as hell. That sort of squatting level is especially rare to see. I’ll also be following/trying to learn.

I have what I would like for the meet planned out. The squats will go 455, 485, 515. For bench, I think I’ll open with an even 300, then I’ll probably go with 320 and then finsh either 340 or 345 though 350 would be great if I think I have that in me. On deadlifts, I’ll open with either 490 or 495 and jump to 520 and then either 540 or 550 depending on what I have left by that point. Shooting for a 1400 total.
1400 raw at your age… damn. Good luck with the meet man sure you’ll kill it just fine. Re my goals… a long way off… ~30lbs off any sort of goal bodyweight (197~ now)… I’m training hypertrophy not strength but of course the sooner I can get in the 400~ region for squats, mid-5s for deadlifting and close to 300 benching… the better for sure (proper total not tested but would be <1100lb at the moment)

You’ll get there dude. I feel getting stronger (really strong) everywhere is the key to getting really big provided the food intake stacks up.
I been running it through my head and I figure the problem with my dead is my setup. My knees are too far forward and I don’t drive through my heels enough so it throws off bar path making the lift harder than it should be. I need to watch for that from now on.
