Yeah. They used to do that to me, but now they don’t. Not sure what changed; perhaps I just became acclimated to them.

chest supported row is pure money

Got asked to play rugby a while ago. I’m considering it. The only thing that’s bugging me is the damn cardio I’d have to do. Crew all over again lol.

It’s not a tonne of running, but a game does last 80 minutes. So much fun though.

I think I’ll give it a try.

thanks breh

I don’t know what’s wrong with me today. Ever since my first meal, I’ve had this innate drowsiness. I got it a little yesterday as well. I’m mentally alert and not low on energy, but I can literally neurotransmitters flooding my brain. Almost like a sedant but not really. Nothing serious that’s bothering me; just weird. Anyways rack pulls and CR rows tomorrow. Probably some standing abs and back raises as well.

Kroc rows. End of discussion. Pick a weight and try and get it for 30 reps. Once you hit 30, increase the weight.

CS

I’m sure you posted but I forgot - when is your meet?

March 24

I’m all over pendlay Rows at the minute for back work, keep em strict and focus on the explosive concentric. My clean strength and general rowing strength has shot up since I’ve started doing em.

I like pendlay rows. I’ll use them more.

I can already hit the heaviest DBs for 30+. We’ll see though.

I called it last year when I got the 110s for 28… working my towards deadstopping them for kroc like numbers I guess. Prefer my gym with 165s.

The heaviest here are 125s.

Today could’ve went better. Made some mistakes, but still a salvageable performance.
Rack pulls
height @ ~14.5-16"; below the knee
140x2
320x1
410x1
added straps
475x1
540x1
590x1 PR for this height; I didn’t best my previous 595 but the bar was a little lower, so this was certainly a stronger lift
620x0 I made the mistake of making multiple attempts which wasted time (which I was short on) and deteriorated my condition
410x10 did some shrugs afterward
460x5 cut it there
Pendlay rows
155x5
195x5
235x5
CS rows/Back raises
2.5psx15,15/10,10
4psx8,8,10/10,10,10
tried the high handles
4psx8/10,10
Pullups

Notes:

  1. I need to invest more time in warming up (even when time is short).
  2. I need to revise my rack pull technique as I’ve been using too much back.
  3. I’ll be rotating the above session with heavy pulls from the floor every other week.
  4. My back is still recovering and I need to address it as such.
  5. I’m very ambitious with my lifting goals and actually wanted to go for 655 today.
  6. I need to scale the weights according to my first work sets regardless of my thoughts/feelings beforehand.

Bench tomorrow

Good list… and still a solid rack pull. I miss rack pulls. It was ridicilious how much less weight I could use when I switched from just above the knee to just below the knee… I have to check my ego and never do above knee again though, as I’d be training the part of the movement I least need to train.
