I can relate to this man. But you’ll be back on track in no time. Just one of those lulls where everything plain sucks.

Lifted with the PL team today. Squatted and worked up to 470x1 Injury PR. I was adjusting the different equipment. Being closer to the wall, using a 55lb bar, chrome kilo plates, and what not. I had to change my stance a bit as well because the rack was too narrow. I could place my heels where I normally would, but I had no room to point my toes out. This made me sit back more and put more stress on my lower back, which wasn’t fresh. I still hit depth though and murdered the weight. No pain in particular; just a little discomfort and a deficiency in support and strength from my lats. I tried a feeler deadlift to see where my body, and my back is pretty wrecked. I talked to Hunter about my injury and told me to try some active recovery for the affected area (my left lat). I’ll be taking about 3 days rest (as much as I want to lift) and will then be starting active recovery when I return. I’ll be changing a few things and looking forward to new gains and developing as a strength athlete.

I’m also doing a meet on March 24th. It’s USPF, I believe.

I’ll also be doing active recovery for my erectors and abs to be safe.

Foam roll that shit son. Also find a baseball for the individual knots, that hurts so good.

Inflammation is significantly less today. Still sticking to the plan though. I want this injury healed completely.
