Input: Doing Perfect Reps w/ This Split

I know you said that any split would be fine when doing perfect reps, but I’m uncertain about how to balance volume and frequency when training like this. The method has a short recovery time and low number of exercises. That much I get. That would mean that high frequency would be preferable. I’ve been doing Waterbury style TBT for a while, and would like to split instead.

Would this be a good solution?

Day 1: Pull
Pull-ups
Chin-ups
Seated Rows

Day2: Legs

Squats
Deadlifts
Calf raises

Day 3: Push

Bench press
Incline dumbell press
Mil. press

Day 4 = Legs

Day 5 = Pull

Day 6 = Legs

Day 7 = Push

etc.

My reasoning is that I only do one quad exercise and one ham exercise, so I need high frequency for that, while putting in a little more rest after pushing and pulling days.

What do you think?

Why wouldn’t you just have an upper body push/pull and a lower body movement per session? Same exercises, but because its only one movement per muscle per day, you can hit them more frequently.

+1 with forbes and thats exactly what I’m gonnna start this new year.

DAY 1 -
Front Squats
Barbell Row
Bench press

DAY 2 -
Romanian Deadlifts
Pull-ups
Military press

DAY 3 -
Snatch Deadlifts
Seated Rows
Weighted Dips
