Has the hip adductor machine worked well for you? I did it for the first time today and am definetly going to keep doing it on leg days. It was pretty easy when I got up to the top weight so I’m going to build up strength to max it out for reps then do single leg work on it.
On female bodybuilders it is very clear that they have well developed inner thigh, hip adductor group muscles. Tom Platz has them, too. So does thibs.
Why or why don’t you do it? Personally, I feel like if I don’t do it now that I know about the muscles/its importance in a full leg then I am missing out on potential gains.
I woulda said close squats, at least thats what I seem to remember arnold attributing Pplatzs’ legs from. I’m not really sure Thibs or Platz used the abductor machine though, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Kai Greene uses it.

This. Most people would be better off focusing on this. However, I have seen a video of Shelby Starnes using the adductor machine.

Wait, are people seriously attributing the teardrop development of bodybuilders to the hip abduction machine or did I miss something here?
Close stance anything will emphasize the outer quad/sweep.

Anyone here use the vag machine? I’ve never used it but have been contemplating it, lately.
I use it to help heal a partial groin tear. And to have an excuse to chat with fat 60yr old sweaty wimminz with thinning hair. Right up your alley I guess? amirite
My lifting buddies in high school referred to that as “the gay leg machine” and I still accidentally call it that matter of factly like its the official name 10 years later.
