Last few jabs I have had a fair bit of oil escape and seep out of the injection site, I am wondering if there is a general reason for this and if I can take steps to prevent it.
i am currently rotating ED 1ml injections in my delts.
to show I am not being lazy i am thinking the leakage is due to:
injecting to fast
Over use of injection site
delts becoming a lot fimer/dense
just coincidence and bad luck it happens sometimes
or other…
What size and gauge needle are you using? I would think that a substantial amount of leakage is not good but honestly I usually have very little leakage or bleeding.

That sounds bizarre. I’ve never read anything about that sort of thing.
Perhaps the deltiod is not a good injection site. What else have you tried?
Do your other injections sites also “leak”?
I have had a bit of blood from my glute injections in the past not so much oil though.
I am very happy with the way the delt injections have been going, no pain and no problems so far, I have had a couple of abcess type swellings and some very painfull jabs in the glute, thats why i have switched to delts
Ive also had this problem. It looks alot worse than it really is. Then i started Z tracking, always works for me and i use 23g 1 1/2. I hit the glute twice a week alternating left to right.

I completely agree with all who said Z-track.
Try a few different sites and make sure you are getting the needle in there deeply enough…although I imagine you must be, using a 1.5" on delts!
I usually use a 1.5 for glutes and delts. However, I mooched some 1-inchers from a training partner last year and both glute shots I did with the shorties leaked a lot- probably the whole shot. Delts worked fine with the little pins though.
It’s easy to do an abbreviated Z-track – after youve’ withdrawn the pin, just pull some surrounding skin over the injection site and hold it there for ~20s.
Well, it’s easy to do with the glute and hip sites anyway.

the oil came out instantly with some blood, I do not think z tracking post injection would help to be honest but cheers

sounds to me like you need to prep your muscle more, massage it first, warm shower before hand is always good too.
Follow the methods posted above and all should be ok.
Delt injections are the worst i find as your other hand is useless practically.
cheers tbol, I am lucky enough to have a helper do all my jabs for me, I want to try injecting into the quads so I can start to do my own jabs as reaching round the delts is tricky like you say.
Although I have no problem with receiving a jab and feel almost no pain, I still am having trouble bringing myself to the point of doing it to myself, its proper gay I know I admit that, but I cannot bring myself to stick that needle into myself, I am sure I will get over this gayness one day though

a girl i know wont stick things into herself, i have to do it for her ha ha!
Hey, at least your still doing things right mate, thats the important thing.
How the cycle coming btw?
pretty good, water retention is going down a bit now as I have come off the anabol and started the anavar instead, I have been on 50mg a day for 5 days now (anavar) and I am slowly noticing improvemnets in stretgh, I have upped the weights yet but I managed to squeeze out a few more reps when working to failure the other night.
