'Inferior' Genetics and Lifting/Bodybuilding

Just from anecdotal evidence, the best calves I’ve seen are sported by Asians (whether they train or not). Most of them have very long gastrocnemius muscles coupled with wide soleus muscles.

This also sprung to mind with me. Can’t remember the last time I saw an Asians calves and wasn’t jealous.

Their calves make up for their dicks. The inverse of the black man.

Egg Rolls rock.

All things being equal, asians would still be smaller and more delicate people.

nature vs nurture, obviously.

Giv’em 20-30 years.

Eugenics is great for bodybuilding. Not great for humanity on the whole though.

if people say that chinese are weak then it isnt getting through to them because chinese guys walk around thinking they can kick anyones ass. not only are they proud but they generaly do not give a fuck about people.
and they are too racist to try bodybuilding because it is a western thing and they think their ancient health secrets are the perfect way for physical enhancement and are beyond brutes like us

It’s a long thing to get into, but I know where you’re coming from in that my gym, a World Gym, costs about $60US or even more a month to go…so you don’t get a lot of manual laborer types in there…the whole gym is filled with what I’ll just call “upper and upper middle class” Taiwanese.

So 90% or even more do light lifting (I’m not being overly judgemental…I mean guys doing 5lb DB bench while wearing all the gear you can buy…wraprs, straps, Nike compression shirts with some plastic Y sewn into it etc.) and then recumbent bike while reading on their iPhone…but I’ve also seen so many cases of ILS (Imaginary Lat Syndrome)…one guy does it so bad that the first time I saw him I thought he simply had to be mocking some other guy on the other side of the gym.

There are lots of great physiques in Taiwan but you’ll be more likely to see them on some guy drinking beer and eating on some street-side restaurant after a hard day carrying heavy things upstairs than in my gym.

Couldn’t resist.

I would hate living in India most likely

How do asians have inferior bb/lifting genetics if height isnt considered a factor?

I guess, there is some credit to stereotypes. I mean Scandinavians dominate strength… black men from old slave trade countries dominate sprinting and explosive sports… certain american countries dominate the endurance running.

But lets not take away the sacrifice that the Chinese make in order to compete on a world level and brush it off as the right chemicals. They train hard for almost all their lives to get where they get.

Also, there was a study (cant remember name as it was a while ago) it theorised that the Asian populations average height/weight is increasing due to an increased exposure to carbohydrates in the diet.

Lets not forget that our average height in western Europe 200 years ago was a lot shorter than it is today.

Thats not how bring forth the butthurt.

I see.

I think the style that would suit you best is to take a factoid that might or might not be true and then blow it put of proportion and defend it with aggressive arrogance.

Like this:

Yo brah,

Asians are bitches cuz they banged the erectus (lol) bitches and the rest banged da neanderthals!!!

Have u seen neanderthals!?!?!?

Lol, still cant believe how ignorant u are, lol

Then you go zen and wait for the fish to bite.

Please note the use of lazy internet abbreviations which suggest that I could write them out but can be bothered, the puerile “lol” after erectus and the use of lol in general.

in the olympics, the one before the last one, a chinese guy won in sprinting. he beat everybody by a good margin. he tried to do it again for the last olympics but snapped his achiles tendon

That last sentence can’t be right. The main staple of their diet is rice for crying out loud. Most likely they are getting taller because they are eating more protein.

Absolutely. It’s hard to tell anything about genetics just by looking at how they have manifested themselves in the current generation. There was a great article in the New Yorker several years ago that examined how the Dutch went from being the shortest people in Europe to some of the tallest. I’d search it up but I’m too lazy.

Maybe it just meant more calories total with most of them coming from carbohydrates.

I think people get caught up with big weights in general, and not always proportion of person to the weight they have to lift.

There may not be a whole lot of Chinese guys competing in worlds strongest man. But, I’d bet if there were an overall with size difference accounted for, and more people participated, big guys wouldn’t win.

There may be in general, genetically larger people in the world, but stronger?
