Indigo-3G Observers Thread

What do YOU spend on your hobby? your fun? your passion? I know people who spend $10,000 to well over $100k each yeah on sports cars, motorcycles, boats, sports tickets, concert tickets, time share condos, travel, etc. It’s all about what it is worth to YOU! This is my passion, this is my fun, it is what I love to do.

I spend a lot each month, more if there is something I want to try or add to the arsenal…and Indigo-3G is proving to be worth every penny.

Good point - but you are one of the few who actually looks like he trains. The main question is why are folks spending thousands on these supps and looking like they have never touched a weight in their lives?

You definitely do not fall into that category.

i agree with you professor x.it certainly seems to me the majority are looking for the easy way to be arnold, tate,or louie simmons.THERE IS NO EASIER WAY THAN HARD WORK PERIOD.no supp is going to get you there without the effort.

Perhaps the “magic pill” complex? All the money and no desire, fire or passion to change? Or perhaps severely genetically disadvantaged? All speculation of course…I can’t answer that question with any degree of accuracy, but I see how this becomes valid as those who aren’t using the product are looking for imperical evidence of actual change.

question for some of your I3G users… how much money a month are you spending on supps?

I was reading through some of the I3G logs and read some say that they just ordered 4 more boxes of FINiBARs for this month.

I read another guy describing his workout protocol for 2 scoops Anaconda, 2 scoops SWF (or Surge recovery. cant remember) and 1 scoop MAG-10.

I know most people are using the supp staples of a multi, fish oil and whey. All of those items, plus the $400 I3G, would be totaling $600-$700 a month right?

I was just wondering because I was thinking that spending $600+ dollars a month on supps alone sounds crazy to me lol… thats not even counting your normal food. Anyone have any input?
My personal take on it is this…honestly, most people running to use this are NOT the types to even see the greatest benefit.

Someone like Stu or anyone else more advanced understands already what it takes to see what they want from their body…so dialing it up a notch to hit that upper 10% after already reaching the other 90 can be far more noticeable and effective. These people understand that the hard work comes from them and aren’t completely reliant on a supplement to see advanced progress to start with.

To those who have put the time in doing what it takes in the gym, yeah, I would say some of these products are worth it.
^Yes, this. x2

lol not true in my case.what i am looking for is concrete evidence that this product is worth the money.i am begining to believe that i am going to have to actually try it.

I haven’t been following this thread closely for the last week or two, but I think some of you are ignoring something.

I completely agree with ProfX, Stu, Hip and others that some people on Team 1 might not really need Indigo, or might might not benefit from it the most. And I would put myself at the top of that list!

Does that mean I will not benefit from it at all? NO!

I have seen effects that I have no doubt I would not have observed through harder training or dietary manipulations alone, like being able to handle carbs better without crashing or spilling over.

I have also experienced effects that may or may not be due to Indigo (and are probably partly due to Indigo, partly due to CT’s program and partly due to psychological effects) - better work capacity, better workouts, more energy.

And you know what? Even if this was just placebo, it would still be worth it to me! I am now training with much more focus and intensity than ever and knowing how I’m pushing myself now will allow me to push myself even more later, with or without Indigo!

Could I have reached this level of intensity without Indigo? I don’t know, but I am now convinced that I could have been training with more intensity than I used to.

So, whether I am benefiting from Indigo as much as I could be or not, I know that it allowed me to step up my game. And makes it worth it to me.

Which is why people keep asking questions…and no, when it comes to that many people, my guess is, most are not some genetic outcropping of hardgainers doomed to never gain any muscle at all. They are half assed weekend warriors who spend way too much on supplements that they aren’t putting in the time and dedication to actually use properly.

That’s just the truth.

I know that hurts some people.

Yeah, but in the case of many of these people, the same could be said of eating right and training consistently…which they clearly were not doing before.

If this product MAKES you train more seriously, then I also doubt you will stick with this…because those who do don’t need that outside stimulus to have the desire for this.

Types who do need the magic feather are the first to drop off the moment life gets rough at all.

Well, obviously we’ll find that out in time.

I think I will stick with it. I base that on the fact that I now KNOW I can train harder than I did before, so with or without Indigo in the future my perception of what training hard means has changed.

@Professor X
By the way, I can’t post in Team 2 logs yet, so I just wanted to say that I’m looking forward to reading what you think about Indigo once you have used it for a while, given that you’ll obviously have a different perspective than I do.

Just in following the logs, it definitely does seem like it is those Team 1 members that are the most advanced that are getting the most benefit from I3G.

don’t stop now professor x you are a roll.i like the magic feather do you know where i can get one?will it work for me?

What do you care?

If someone has, and wants to spend, thousands on supps, why does it matter to you?

Will getting answers to your questions help you with your own progress somehow?

Or are you just looking to put other people down?
Why do you care, that he cares?
hahahaha that part made me LOL

and to address Chushins post… When do I ever put other people down on this site? I always try to be positive (unless its a gal joke thread or something) and dont go around here bashing other people.

I had a legitimate question about how much people spend a month on supps. I was curious.

I know there are people on this site who make a lot of money and own/run their own businesses and if they want to spend a ton of money on supps then thats totally fine.

I was asking because I was curious, more than anything else.

I completely agree with this.

If you are SERIOUS about bodybuilding/weight training and you actually LOOK like you have seen the inside of a gym consistently within the past year (lol) then I can totally see why you would be spending ‘a lot’ (subjective term i know) on supps. Like I said before, I was genuinely curious about the subject.

I was in no way looking to put people down. I dont go into threads and do that sort of thing (not that any of you would be overly familiar with my posting history) thats just not how I roll.

I come to this site for information/because I enjoy the interactions (and supps obviously) not to argue and put other posters down.

What does this mean? Can’t we at least keep the comments somewhat relavent?

Well, I just mentioned that I ordered 4 boxes of FINiBARS, could this be me you’re speaking of? If so, you got confused somehow. The 4 boxes that I had just ran out of were ordered the day of Christmas, so 4 boxes of FINiBARS every 6 months isn’t that crazy if you ask me lol.

But, to the topic of the thread: I don’t need to justify my purchase of Indigo. But, I’ve been only training for 2 years, I’ve made good progress in those two years (people constantly tell me so and are shocked when they haven’t seen me since I started. I constantly get the “roid” question lol, stupid) and I am fortunate enough to be able to afford it. So yeah, I decided to order it, and I’m glad I did.

Also, this is the first time I’ve ever purchased anything other than the basics which are proven to be effective (different protein powders, fish oil, vitamins, BCAAs, etc.) other than preWO stims.

Go spend 50k in Vegas on blackjack, everything you ever do in life seems pretty cheap and incredibly sensible after that

This thread has gotten WAY off topic! I propose we start a new one, where it is only what the topic states. A thread where people can post their progress on Indigo, without logging all their workouts and diets and so on. When I follow the logs, which I do, it is so hard to decipher the actual info I want, which is how much weight have you gained, how much fat, in inches have you lost, muscle gained, all the pertinent info.
