If you want to hit like man you better be ready to receive like one too.
I liked how the kid was crying while the other host was destroying him lol.

great place for you men to start.
Well seeing as how things won’t be changing anytime soon, I sure don’t see a lot of guys on this forum marching for women’s rights, I think you all are pretty safe.

Don’t put words in my mouth. No where did I say women shouldn’t have equal rights in other aspects of life, that’s absurd.
BTW- I don’t like to admit it, but to give some perspective on this.
I have been slapped by a woman before, and I slapped her right back. Am I proud of it? No. Was it a conscious decision to slap back? Not at all, it was pure instinct.

I don’t believe in equality. Men and women, and individuals within those groups are not created equal. And no man feels threatened by a woman, regardless as to whether or not she is actually a threat to him.
I do believe the weak should be protected, but only until they decide to fuck with me. If they do, then they get put in their place.
Women should and do have rights, but they are not equal to men in most respects, and are so different in others as to make a notion such as equality inherently meaningless. Anyone who thinks women should be given the same treatment as men is deluded. They get their own rules, which are fair, but they do not get equality.

Marching? If it was decent cardio I’d do it.
But that aside, what? I’m all for women’s rights. But in the sense that I want EQUAL rights for EVERYTHING. Take jobs for instance - I think employers should screen based on what their company will gain from the candidate. Leaving gender out of it. If the ideal candidate happens to be male, then fine. If the ideal person is female… also fine.
Don’t assume we all want women to be subjugated and downtrodden, that’s insulting.

It’s a miniseries on HBO about the American invasion of Iraq. In one scene, the Marines are doing something, I forget what, exactly, and the Iraqi men are just standing around, doing nothing. The women, on the other hand, are going absolutely apeshit. They’re screaming, yelling, waving their arms, cussing the marines out, nearly getting violent in some cases. Sgt. Espera, who has a knack for social commentary, then describes how he used to be a repo man. How men would just allow you to take their cars and shit, while he women would scream and fight and slap and bitch. Why is that?
‘Women think they’re protected.’
The men don’t fight because they know they’ll have to answer for their actions. If they throw a punch they’re gonna get busted up. Women think they can get away with treating men like shit because they’re women. That’s bullshit. Most men will not get confrontational with other men, while women will have no qualms about it, because men know that are accountable for what will happen to them.
Women want to have power like men, but they also want to be safe like women. That’s bullshit. You hit me you get hit back. I’m not your fucking whipping boy, just like you’re not my punching bag.
Just remember that when you do hit me, I can hit back a fuck of a lot harder. And I will. So think about that before you do something stupid. No woman hits a man expecting to be hit back, and that’s ridiculous. Respect me and I respect you.
Don’t tell me what women think.
you can ask me what I think and I will tell you
You said yourself it’s not right for a man to hit a woman, and that if a woman hits me, I should not hit her back. If you hold that belief, then, were you to slap a man, you wouldn’t expect him to slap you back. In this sense, you feel you are protected.
If a man hits a woman first, do you think she has the right to hit him back, or must she simply push him away also? Honestly, please. If a man hit you would you hit him back? Honestly. If you thought he wouldn’t hit you back?
It’s called accountability. Your actions have consequences. Are men stronger than women? Of course, and a woman who hits a man knows this. You don’t want to get hit, you don’t hit. it’s simple.
I’ve only been slapped by a woman twice in my life. Both times were because these girls thought it was cute or funny or whatever, and once because she was trying to goad me into wrestling with her. I didn’t strike them back, but I did let them know it was NOT okay. I didn’t hit them, but that was my concession, and it was a gift. A man would never have slapped me like that and thought it was going to go over well. A man would know he would get hit back just as hard. Women think they’re protected from that.
Who are all these women that are hitting you? I don’t know these folks.
and do you really think the majority of domestic violence is woman against man, or do you think it just might be men beating on women?
I know, I know, we are supposed to be equal, great, give me all the equal opportunity and I will be more in your camp about things.
You didn’t answer the question and I didn’t mention domestic violence. We’re not equal, and that’s the reason I won’t hit you if you say my mom’s a whore, like my male friends. But if you hit me, you get the ‘female treatment’ which is a single deserved slap. I won’t pummel you with closed fists. You are a woman and get treated as such.

Vicomte I worked for a woman’s abuse shelter so from my experience there I met a lot of women who were abused and were afraid to hit back because if they did they got it worse.
I mentioned in another old thread about my own attack where I did defend myself and I got the massive beating of a lifetime. My defending myself escalated the event although really, it was already pretty bad.
If your question is whether or not I would hit someone back, in my case I would. But my response, just speaking for myself, would be fear based. Would you as a man be responding in fear? Would you be afraid that if you didn’t react that this attack would continue and you would be beaten?
This isn’t a win/win subject.
Unfortunately it isn’t an equal field. I realize that there are women out there that throw punches, and slaps and are assholes. I am not giving them a “get a free hit” card. I don’t like that behavior.
I don’t like it isn’t equal, neither the circumstances of gender nor opportunity. So how can we ever agree on this subject?

Great, but it isn’t like that now. There are some jobs that are restricted from women per Federal Mandate. Also some due to our sex and risks.
so don’t just throw out the “if women want equality, blah blah blah blah.” because it just isn’t that easy, and it isn’t here, and it isn’t now.

thanks for the clarification Jeh-Fit
okay well I have hijacked this thread enough
I am not painting all men with the same brush, I don’t see you all as oppressors
If anyone wants to discuss anything about whatever you can PM me
I have probably said the same thing a bunch of different ways by now =)
so!! back to the crazy game show
He slapped that bitch so hard that her red dot feel off her forehead.
Men cannot hit women, or do so at their own social peril because some men DO hit women and they do frequently, too frequently batter the hell out of them to the point that we have created an appropriate social stigma.
If you really think women walk around thinking they are ‘protected’ then you really need think about what it REALLY like for most women who avoid parking lots after dark for fear of what men will do to them. This is partly because of scare mongering and partly because they or someone close to them wound up hurt. So there is NO WAY women think they are protected!!! That is incredibly ridiculous. Seriously!
Personally, I believe in being accountable for my actions and don’t expect that if I slap some guy that he should not or would not slap me back. But, we live in a world where women get dominated, abused and shitkicked by their spouses and until that stops it will just have to be that way. I don’t fault anyone for reacting to a slap but at least understand why it is how it is.
Of course, I don’t expect guys to understand this instinctively because of different experiences and such but trust me!! We have an entire different experience.

After watching those clips, it looks as if the woman was trying to goad the men into reacting as part of the game (the whip is a dead giveaway!).
The problem is that she had been told by the producers to act aggressively towards the contestants, but she wasn’t told how far to take her role. I doubt that the guy she slapped was aware of the risk of physical contact; otherwise he wouldn’t have responded as strongly as he did.
The blame lies with the producers for not telling the woman how far she could go, and for not warning the contestants of what might happen. Lawsuits all round, I think…
there’s 1 billion of those ppl running around, cant really say they’re life is worth jack. the settlement is probably like $50 USD

I actually didn’t post this to spark some debate. I thought the “HOW CAN SHE SLAP??” was hilarious and my friends and I have been texting each other with this line for the past few days. This is the first time I had seen the video; didn’t know it was “old.” I guess in internet age, old is somewhere around 1-2 weeks?
As a man, if you were that contestant, what else could you do? If you stand there, you look like a fucking punk, so the best is to walk away (off stage). Even then, you look like someone got the better of you, but at least you walked away.
I do think it’s bullshit but I dont’ see it changing anytime soon. The worst argument is that men have more ‘strength’ and should therefore not hit women, because they’d cause more damage. Shouldn’t women think, “Ok, if I will sustain more damage than him, then I shouldn’t be hitting in the first place.” That’s pretty much a given when one person instigates anything with another; risks are assessed before confrontation, at least that is how men behave.
I took a criminal law class where we studied women in physical confrontation. Women just go at it without thinking anything through. Men exchange words and size each other up.
Even before walking off stage, I would’ve humiliated the shit outta her. It’s just a lose-lose situation for any man.
Ok, for the women/men who say he should not have hit her: what should have done? Not rhetorical. Serious question.
Should he have:
A) walked away
B) stood there
C) other?
I’m curious…
Again, I’m not advocating men hit women back.
…but, if a woman is hitting my girlfriend or female friend or mother/sister, and the victim CANNOT fend for themselves - for instance, I cannot imagine my ex girlfriend capability of hitting anyone back - you better believe I will reconfigure the assailant’s face. That, I should get a free pass for.
Or I can just take it by force ![]()

that’s a no-brainer, as a bodybuilder, i would mull every effing piece of crap that gets in my way, esp the male host, i mean for crying out loud, he’s been taking cheap shots at that skinny bitch. so i would slap the bitch, slug the host, and beat the hell out of everyone else.

Sorry, deb. I don’t believe that for a second.
Please show me where this stigma you speak of is “appropriate” ? Nobody here thinks it’s appropriate to beat women like you are describing. Nobody.
And don’t mention the wife beaters as an exception; we are talking about civilized, sane people (hopefully the majority posting in this thread).
**I should confess to not actually watching the video yet (I’m still at work so I stay away from youtube). I was just responding to the other posts and speaking more generally.
The major problem with guys hitting girls and stuff is the law.
If a girl hits a guy, she can’t really go to jail for it and won’t pay the price unless the guy is really hurt.
If a guy hits a girl, he’s gonna get his ass sued.
Anyway, that’s how I see it.
