increasing free test on diet

Ok i got a question about some stuff i read.

If im correct (big if here :p) when dieting you TBG level rises thus resulting in less thyroid activity (simply put).
When your t3 levels decline, your shbg levels will decrease thus actually increasing your free test. Is this correct guys.

Cause if this is the cause couldnt it be possible to actually through cunning manipulation of diet (including leptin) to use this rise in free test to your advantage to retain more lean mass?
I know that through dieting your hpta shits towards estorgen so there is less T overall, but with a larger percentage of this as free hormone it’s worth looking into? Or those the decline in total test negate any positive effect we might see?

Would love an answer guys.

Mo,there is research showing lowered testosterone levels when fat intake is lowered. After commencing a high fat diet a couple of years back, my blood work showed a decrease in SHBG. From my understanding, low calories, low fat and low protein intake and high carb diets lower testosterone and/or increase SHBG.

ok but who lowers fat intake on a diet anyway? Well if u have half a mind u wouldnt

The queation is that if you manipulated your diet in such a way that you body still felt like it was in a fed state i.e. trying to keep leptin levels elevated.
Whille still being on a hypocaloric diet, which would in theorie increase tbg, and decrease shbg, would i be possible to axtually have more free test. Therefor making it easier to maintain LBM.
Or would the decrease in total test from the defieciency in cals be to great to overcome?
