Increased Total - Just Want to Say Thanks

I’ve been using 5/3/1 programming consistently for a little more than two years now, and it’s been a great fit for me. Most recently, I used the 13-week BBB challenge to get ready for my meet this past weekend.

In just those 13 weeks, I added 42lbs to my total, just missing the elite total by 8lbs, but setting an american USAPL raw record in the deadlift at 410lbs (over 100-pound improvement in two years).

I can’t wait to see how far this style of lifting can take me in another two years! Jim, thanks for putting out such a solid template and taking the time to answer folks’ questions.

Thats unreal man! Congrats. Keep at it, I hammered away at “equipped” programs for years and never made substantial progress until switching to 5/3/1 as a raw lifter. Im sure in 5 years youll be miles ahead of where you are now. Best of luck man and congrats on the great meet
