Fatigue is what HAPPENS. What do you DO, just before MMF. What ACTION happens? Momentary Muscular Effort is an AFTER EFFECT. You must DO something for that to happen. What is it you are DOING before MMF happens TO YOU?
Fatigue happens to you. What ACTION do you do, just before MMF? What are you DOING? (not what is happening to you)
Cute. Bye
That it isnāt obvious says everything about why this kind of Exercise struggles for acceptance. Never mind. Everyone will just argue, anyway. It should be obvious. Itās what Exercise IS.
Hard work!
āWorkā, in the classical sense, is NOT necessary for this. But, what must happen for WORK to happen?
Also, āworkā is the result of something else. Work is what happens to something.
How do you make tension? I SHOULDNāT have to tell anyone this. It should be so freaking obvious. Any Engineers here would be able to answer. Please, pipe in if youāre available.
Fine⦠A hint: ALL the weight weight does is AUTOMATICALLY select the level of effort.
THIS is why what everyone calls HIT struggles for acceptance: not even the users truly understand it.
Itās not about muscular failure. That is an after effect of EFFORT! Once you have achieved FULL EFFORT, THEN MMF happens, because no further movement can happen with that level of resistance.
Everyone is caught up in the after effect. What HAPPENS to the movement.
Effort causes tension. Once the effort rises to a certain level, given the proper conditions, movement might occur (but doesnāt have to). When the body is properly arranged, that effort is focused, and the focused effort with the selected āresistanceā will lead to fatigue (which is anyones SWAG as the what is really happening). When the effort that leads to tension that causes movement to occur happens over time, well, yāall know the rest.
Itās NOT about the movement. Stop focusing on what has happened after the exercise is DONE.
Itās about THE EFFORT.
Focus on the effort.
I know you will disagree with me, but,⦠no. Yāall donāt.
Iām not a HIT guy. I just Exercise. Iāve already explained everything necessary. @Ellington_Darden bless you for your patience with them.
I really donāt know how to be any more clear.
My apologies. Iām am failing to properly explain it, and that is on me.
What is the adonis like physique you have built?
What is the point you are trying to make with any of this?
Again, you Darden guys are just old and delusional.
Effort creates tension but without controlled movement against load, youāre not training muscles, youāre just straining.
And here you are following and wasting his time on a forum that pertains to Dardenās training strategiesā¦so, who is the delusional one
If youāre talking to me, youāre pushing the wrong point. The physique Iāve built is STILL ALIVE. Exercise is helping me stay alive.
Thatās the Adonis physique I built.
You try becoming āAdonisā during cancer treatment.
In the 90ās and early 2000ās, I worked with Doug Spratt at BodyCoach Personal Training. I was a āparticipating founderā, hence: Bodycoach2. Also, a former Super Slow Exercise Guild Instructor. I do prefer working with older people, and rehabilitative exercise.
Random thought: When I hear other trainers say, āI will only work with people who are ready to train hard, and do what I say,ā I know are they same people who will only play games they know they can win.
Dude, youāre mistaking who the teacher is, here.
Come with me, if you want to see the Future of Exercise.
Thatās a pretty low bar. Staying alive.
I think youāll find most guys here are not just interested in staying alive but weāre interesting in how we live.
